    I would leave a zero if I could. They are charging me $213 for a start run capacitor. Absolute price gouging! They are crooks, they tried to justify it by saying it will be under warranty. In addition the tech was already there and installed it during the system evaluation which in itself was $99. I wouldn't trust this company every, stay away!

    Had new unit installed 10/4/24.. The technician was great. Call that evening and complained about a problem.They send someone right away.He said there is no problem, it'll be fine in the morning. The unit was not okay the next day . I called a twenty four hour number six times on the fifth . Never received a return call. The unit takes hours to get the temperature down 1 or 2 degees. Even after getting the temperature down, it still runs for a couple of hours after. I am very unsatisfied with their customer service. They could have had the decency to at least call back. I suffered without air conditioning 5 days after the hurricane, and now I have to put up with this. Be careful with the contractor you call. I would not recommend Boyd brothers. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges.
