    Date: 06/10/2024

On Call Electric of SW Florida LLC submitted a quote for Replace cloth wiring in residence with new Romex NM cable and bring up to code. Replace electrical service with new on January 23, 2024, which was accepted by *****************. On January 26, 2024, a Renovation Loan Agreement was executed naming On Call Electric of SW FL LLC as the electrical contractor. The work was to be completed on or before 6 months of the date of the agreement. This agreement was signed by both *********************** and ***************************. Work was being completed during the month of February. During that time, On Call received many terse, threatening emails. On February 19 and February 23, ****************** threatened to start the departure process and having a different company finish up the workciting lack of communication and follow through.

The scope of the work was to rewire the house and replace the electrical service. That work was completed. ******************, having no experience in renovation work, demanded that the existing cloth wiring be removed. We explained, through several emails, that if the wiring was deenergized, it would not be harmful to abandon it in the walls. As a side note, all wiring is typically secured every few feet so removing existing wiring would have required opening walls and/or ceilings to access it and then subsequent patching and painting. That was not part of our quote, nor is it standard practice to remove it unless the house is being gutted.

In several of her emails, ****************** voiced her displeasure over our quote and the labor cost associated with it. ****************** should not have signed off on the quote if she did not like the price.
Perhaps, to get her monies worth, ****************** summoned us back to her home on five different occasions. NONE of these complaints were due to faulty work and were not subject to the warranty yet she was not charged for them.
To recap, a Certification of Completion was executed by ***************** and ****************** on March 13, 2024. An appraisal was done for the benefit of Movement Mortgage and the homeowner on March 12, 2024. On Call Electric of SW Florida LLC issued an invoice to Movement Mortgage on March 11,2024 and it was received on March 24, 2024. The electrical work was inspected by the City of ***************, ** on March 6, 2024. FPL was notified and the service changeover was completed.

As for ****************** request, On Call Electric has completed everything on our quote as evidenced by approvals/inspections by the homeowner, the mortgage company, the city, and the electric utility company. If On Call had done a very terrible job, we highly doubt that it would have passed any inspections. Furthermore, the homeowner may not realize that the work they completed electrically may be interfering with the electrical system. We observed new wiring to an RV trailer that ****************** admitted had been done by family members; it was never permitted and/or inspected which is a code violation and also against the law. This act can violate her electrical warranty. We were also informed that the homeowner had requested a voltage survey from the utility company to try and identify voltage drop problems due to the length of the run from the pole to the house.

Finally, as for the harassment allegations, ****************** was not harassed by either Mr. or *******************, in fact it is quite the opposite.Between threatening emails and phone calls, she has not only disrupted our business, but has put disparaging and untrue comments on ****** as well as this report with the BBB.
