I signed an agreement on March 22, 2024 with ***** ********, owner of Generator Solutions of SWFL, for a 22KW Generac Generator. I paid Mr. ******** in full on May 17, 2024, $11,200.00. I had to pay the propane tank company, ****************************************************,separately $6,567.00, as they will not any longer invoice under Generator Solutions because of payment issues by Generator Solutions. The generator was connected on June 24, 2024, three months after signed agreement and a plethora of excuses from ***** ******** as to when the project would be completed. The propane tank was filled on June 25, 2024. The project was inspected (and passed) by Lee County, June 26, 2024.Per ***** ********, ****** was to replace sod/landscaping needed after propane tank was installed. ****** does not replace/repair sod/landscape. After I notified ***** ******** about this, he agreed he would take responsibility for replacing the sod. After many weeks of waiting for ***** ******** to replace the sod (also plant bushes to hide generator from street view, a condition of the *** ARC approval) he came back on August 14, 2024 to lay the sod and plant bushes. I questioned ***** ******** on what kind of sod he was laying as it did not look like St. Augustine sod, our neighborhood sod. He said it was a combo *************/Bahai grass. I contacted our *** landscape committee and they brought in our landscape company, ************************* supervisor on August 19, 2024. The supervisor confirmed suspisions, it was "pasture grass" and it was scraps. After I contacted ***** ******** to remove what he laid and also the 3 bushes he planted (the *** board rejected what ****** ******** installed/planted) he has not contacted me back after numerous texts and calls. It cost me $650.00 to have what he planted, removed, and replaced with St. Augustine grass. ***** ******** also broke my outside faucet, cost me $232.85 as he would not take responsibility. Much more to report, no room.

This response was taken verbally by BBB:

We were not contracted to put sod down, we did it as goodwill because the propane company wouldn't do it. The propane companies contract specifically states they are not responsible for the sod. The area that was dug up to put the tank in was a 6'x4' area, that was all the sod that was removed. Our goodwill went from a quarter of a pallet to a half of pallet and her eventually asking for a full pallet of sod to be laid. We also placed 3 plants that would have grown for screen. The customer never paid for this. After we installed the sod, we opened her outside faucet to water the sod. It would not turn off. She advised she had a handyman fix the faucet earlier in the year. I did nothing that would break the faucet, I simply turned it on and then tried to turn it off. The customer is trying to blame me for a faucet with a pre-existing condition. The customer's issue with her HOA are her issues, not ours. We will not reimburse for removing sod that she asked us to lay and we did as goodwill and we will not reimburse for a faucet that we simply turned on. The customer should upload a copy of my contract, the contract she signed with the propane tank company and the ARC form so you can see that we did not sign the ARC form and our contracts have no stipulations in it for grass. This complaint is the first time we have heard that she wanted her service contract refunded. I will notify my office staff to process a refund for that today.

This company sold me a full house generator 2 years ago 02/2022. Was paid in full 10,000$ Have been trying for 6 months to get them to respond and finish the job. Its now 01/09/2024 I did receive a text 07/14/2023 that they would send someone out to finish. No show no response to any of my text message. 2 years is ridiculous.
