I rent an rv space at Peoples Choice RV now known as Storage Sense. I've had the spot over a year. New management wants me to remove kayak from site which previous management allowed. I live in Kentucky during summer and had no way to comply. I flew in this week to sell rv and move kayak. Today manager called earlier enraged threatened me. I'm elderly veteran 100 disabled with PTSD. I'm trying to comply but can't be threatened. It shuts me down. I can't be provoked needlessly without adverse reaction. I'm nicest guy when people use direct and respectful communication. Please help.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/10) */ 6/23/2022 1:50 PM Manager: Note - Called and informed him that only the items with a vin # on file in the office are the only items allowed to be stored. He currently has a Kayak and a wood items in the storage space that he said he will remove when back in town 7/29/22. On 8/4/22 I sent a polite letter explaining the same thing due to him not removing the items as he promised. On 8/9/22 I had called him and explained that he needs to remove the items from the parking space and additionally said that he was not allowed to work on the RV at the facility. I had seen renovation debris around his untidy RV parking spot. When I mentioned this he started yelling at me and then he hung up. We keep a professional and clean parking facility and this is in every customer lease including the prior ownerships lease. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I arrived in Punta Gorda from Kentucky on 1 Aug 2022. I've not received any correspondence from Common Sense between 1 Aug to the present. The morning of 9 Aug he called and ranted and lectured me. I have PTSD! If I am provoked, insulted, and disrespected I will respond with rage. In fact I was on my way to remove my kayak and wood stand that very morning. I hung up because I started having panic attacks and a vicious cycle of depression that kept me in bed for the next 36 hours. He would not let me talk to explain I was trying to comply immediately and said he had gotten in trouble from owners. He was very angry and unprofessional. It's a recorded line, check it. I'd be happy to sit down with his supervisor and listen to it. I'm in the process of selling my RV and leaving this RV lot. I'm paid up to end of month and will not renew my lease. I have moved the wood he complained about. Tomorrow I will attempt to find a professional storage business to relocate my kayak. I pay $235 per month for a 40' parking space for my 22' RV. Previous owners allowed me to store my kayak. The new owners, who know most of their customers are out of state six to nine months per year, made major policy changes and now expect immediate compliance?? That's unreasonable and probably illegal if push comes to shove. I flew back to Florida as soon as I could to resolve this issue, sell my RV and get away from this bullish manager whose interpersonal skills are probably more suited to demolition work rather than customer service of any kind. As of now, I've removed the offending wood and cardboard cylinder. I don't have a vehicle and will likely have to rent a vehicle to move the kayak. I expect to be completed by Thursday or Friday. I'm a very easy guy to get along with if treated professionally. I had recommended this storage facility to three different friends for the upcoming winter season, I called them all and told them about the managers conduct. All three have decided to go elsewhere. That's 3 Xs $235 per month. He can do the math for lost revenue. Others will leave too. I noticed all the other RV storage sites in the area are packed while Common Sense is suddenly struggling. Good customer service is important, as this manager will soon find out.
