    I am filing a formal complaint against Forest Trail Academy LLC regarding a service refund issue. The service, described as deposit for tuition, was never provided as promised.On September 3rd, 2023, I initiated a written refund request via email to registrar and support desk, as per their policy, due to non-performance. Despite their 5-day grace ******* excluding weekends, there was no response. On September 5th, I contacted them by phone to reiterate my request.Their policy on refund requests is cryptic and seemingly designed to hinder the process. To compound my frustration, I contacted them today and received unhelpful customer service. Their representative was unresponsive to my plea for economic hardship relief.In response, I initiated a chargeback with my bank for $400.00 on September 5th, and they initially credited my account, but the credit was reversed on October 26th, resulting in a loss of $400.00.I demand a full refund of $400.00, which includes the initial $250.00 tuition fee. Attached are relevant documents.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Your intervention is greatly appreciated.Sincerely,*************************

    We are in total confusion by this parent stating "Non-Performance". This family enrolled on August 31st. Classes were added on August 31st. ****** later emailed ** there was miscommunication with her family and son is already enrolled in a school by the grandparents. We issued a refund per our policy. There is no Non Performance (this is a false statement). What the issue is - is clearly stated in her email correspondence is miscommunication on her family part. This has nothing to with us. We complied with our policy and immediately issued a refund minus the $150.00 registration fee. As you see the complete string of communications via emails (vs partial) everything is documented and clearly stated. She was notified of a refund minus the $150.00 registration fee both verbally and in writing. We were unaware of any issue until now. Clearly the $400.00 she requested was reversed by the credit card company as they saw we issued  a $250.00 refund.
