I now believe it to be a scam. I had agreed to use them for potential tax benefits/restructuring which would save the owners of our company a lot in taxes over the next few years. I was told they would hold my down payment check until I received the scope of work and agreed to it. I have that agreement (to hold the check) in writing. They cashed the check about a month later and claimed that they spoke with my accounting department about it first, which is a lie and was my first indication I was being scammed. Unfortunately, the weekend I gave them a check was the same weekend I became sick, and later was determined to have a serious cancer,. for which I'm still in treatment. I realized that now was not the time to be making big changes in my business, explained my situation to Mr. ********* by email, and requested a stop of work and a refund of any unused funds, to which he agreed. However, he always had an excuse ... ie. on vacation in Europe, will take care of it when he gets back, etc. Then eventually he quit responding entirely. I'm ashamed to say how much money he/they got away with. If you have dealings with people associated with Profit Management Solutions or Tax Law Associates, let the buyer beware. I wish I had.

This complaint is completely unfounded. I have spoken with Mr ******** as well as our tax attorneys several times. It was only after we had nearly completed his project did he make us aware of his illness. Trying to be understanding of his situation, I offered him what we feel was a very generous refund, as Mr ******** had only placed a retainer down, which was half of the cost of the actual project. That retainer was used and we had would have collected the other half of the monies remaining upon completion. We were 90% complete when Mr ******** had made us aware of his situation. So offering him any refund was we feel very generous. We are sympathetic to his situation, but our company still had many billable hours into his project, so we were taking a loss as it was with no refund offer. There have been several emails sent to Mr Thompson, of which we can show, but no response from any of them. Many phone calls made to him with no return call.

As far as us cashing his check, we only cashed the check after our our tax attorney had spoken with Mr ******** as we were all on the same page and we were authorized to cash the check.

Id be happy to supply all documentation accordingly, and our initial refund offer still stands for Mr *******, when actually if we billed him for hours worked, he would owe us much more
