  I hired Rey ********************** through a referral. My tree in my front yard was uprooted by hurricane ******. He charged ****** to correct the situation. I payed through ***** to his wife's account, he stated his account was locked, after he sent a picture of the tree standing upright. A day and a half later my tree was back on it's side. I reached out to Mr. ********************** via text and calls. I gave him a couple of days to rectify the problem. He stated he was going to be in the neighborhood and stop by, he never did and never answered any calls or texts from me. I requested a refund and never heard anything else from him. He also straightened up my neighbors tree and her tree also fell back over. I have to now find and pay someone else to correct this situation. I had no problem paying the ******, I feel like he took advantage of the hurricane situation. I don't want him to correct it now, I want a refund for a job that was not completed.

  There was an agreement to come out on Monday after I finished 5 jobs to come out to stand back up the tree that fell some days afterwards according to the customer. After I couldn't give an exact time the customer said you know what nevermind don't even bother coming back just send me my refund. I charge hourly, so even if it fell days later because it wasn't staked the way that I would do it how I was informed to do it by the customer was to no fault of my own. I don't get refunded on my hourly time that I spent there. My apologies that there isn't an exact set time in this industry it's whenever the time gets open after jobs get finished. The job was done, tree was stakes and was standing when I left and sent pictures over THEN payment was sent. Payment was not sent beforehand it was after the job was completed and she was satisfied with the work completed. I never gave an estimate through the company, this wasn't executed through the company or paid to the company, this was all done on the side. My company mows grass so it has no involvement even in the text messages it says or does or states nothing with Rey Julio Penaloza LLC. The customer was happy with what was done and paid after the job was completed so there was no scamming, I'm not even sure how a side job got into this mess especially if the company isn't even registered with the BBB.
