Richard E****** from Osceola Cabinets and Granite LLC was hired in March 2022 to make custom cabinets for our kitchen remodel, add a wet bar, and a new bathroom and install custom granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom including a pass through window. We went to his shop on 4/9/22 to pick cabinet style, door style, sinks, and color of cabinets. We have pictures of what was picked. We were told the job would be 4-6 weeks, then he added it would probably be more like the 6 weeks due to him going to Jamaica. We hired him for the job. We have on text that we informed Richard that we wanted the same layout and footprint of the original kitchen, just updated and custom, he redesigned the kitchen layout, and made the custom cabinets without asking us first. When he installed the cabinets he made I asked him where the rest of the cabinets were, he said that was all we were getting, which was not what we ordered. We also talked about adding our outdoor kitchen for a later date. He later told us to go to the granite yard to pick the granite and to pick 2 slabs to have enough for the outdoor kitchen, we did that. The granite yard gave us a receipt of what was chosen but would only sell to the contractor. Richard assured us he secured the granite (we have text proving his assurance). We needed something else from the granite yard and found out that Richard had NOT secured our granite and they had sold it to someone else, that was in 5/22. We picked different granite and pled with Richard to secure it this time. We purchased 128 sq ft of granite (have that receipt from the granite yard), yet only 60 sq ft has been installed in our home and now Richard is saying that he has no more of the granite we purchased. Our agreement for the entire job was to include 3 sinks. We wanted a special sink for the kitchen so Richard told us to purchase that sink separately and that he would give us a sink credit, he never gave us a sink credit. He owes for slab of granite and a sink.

The layout was exactly what we talked about ! They were both present when I measured and layout was hand drawn in front of them. On install they were not there they showed up after I left and brought to my attention it was wrong ! I came back to house and explained they had wanted the dishwasher to right of sink and would push cabinets into window making the old footprint not possible he agreed with me . There was 5 counter tops fabricated with 2 slabs absolutely impossible to get summer kitchen out of the material and the was a secondary project

they didnt have the money to pay me after they got back from vacation and had caught the Covid! He told me in his driveway he has not worked in 2 weeks and didnt have the money and apologized i in turn told him I did not feel comfortable starting the second project when he couldnt pay for the first project. They payed in full the following weekend! He was verbally rude with snide comments on every turn , I said some things on my end that didnt help the situation I tried to bite my tongue, and the 2 of them fought over ordering the wrong wine cooler she was clueless on remodeling.they trashed me on a ******** forum in which to damage me I never responded due to the people who come on ******** dont understand the situation nor am I going to air my responses to get into an ongoing never ending battle between people and their opinions that have no business being in it, had plenty of people come to my side which only made them madder . they received a beautiful custom kitchen that they highlighted when trying to sell the house . Wish ***** and ****** all the best in their future
