    On March 20th, my hurricane shutters were worked on for a ridiculously high price of $875. Then, 7 days later when I first try to close them, the electric hurricane shutter doesnt work at all. Someone called me after leaving a ****** review and Im now being told it will be several weeks before this can be resolved. This is totally unacceptable as I work night shift and have to sleep during the day! I use the shutters to block out light. If they want me to wait that long, I should get a full refund. They at least need to come and fix the shutter that they broke.

    I am writing on behalf of Storm Shutter Specialist in response to the complaint filed by Mr. ***** ********************************* also referenced above. We take all customer feedback seriously and would like to provide our perspective on the matter. 

    Mr. ***** storm shutter was not in good working condition and a part was missing upon repair. The shutter was stuck down because of a broken universal and was starting to roll backwards. The pin was missing from the universal. This is not a new install, this is a simple repair conducted by our trained and skilled service technician and no permit is required for the repair. Mr ***** wanted our employee to fix the issue improperly and we advised against this type of repair and we would not conduct business this way. Our team always provides the highest level of service to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. After the final repair was complete the client inspected the repairs to ensure they were in working condition prior to our service technician collecting payment. As our policy we do not accept payment until the client is satisfied with our workmanship and we take video and pictures of repaire and the  properly working shutter. Two weeks later Mr. ***** called our office complaining the shutter was not working properly, after our employee advised us he was uncomfortable going back the client, the client will not take our educated expert techincian's advice so we concluded with a full refund his payment and advised to try another company we do not compromise the safety of our employees or clients safety,  for a clients request for not repairing the shutter properly. We went above and beyond for this client with a full refund even after  after obtaining video and pictures and full inspection by client with client satisfaction prior to leaving the unit. We will not compromise the integrity of our employees or our company. We have been in business for over 30 years by word of mouth. We take all compliments and complaints seriously and try our best to resolve all issues prior to leaving the service job.   Attached is a video of Mr. ***** shutter working properly upon our service technician leaving the service call. We remain committed to resolving any concerns and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this situation and look forward to continuing to serve our community with integrity and professionalism.

    The check was dropped off at my house on June 28th, more 3 months after the incomplete job was performed on March 20th. Thanks you for your assistance in reaching a resolution.
