    Its been 25 days since I place a ticket to resolve my issue and I cant get no call back or answer I can put my truck to stock because device its married to the truck and I cant move my truck

    "Be Cautions" because once the product is no longer supported they want you to buy a new one - I have an SCT X3 filesystem with an error and now stuck with a tune I can not revert to stock or troubleshoot my car. The only way to resolve this is to purchase a new one at a 30% discount. I already paid good money for the X3 and for you to just "oh Well you have to buy another" is unacceptable to me. What would be better is to repair the one I purchased or replace it is what I expect to support and be behind your products.

    You have our answer this device is unsupported due being discontinued. Again, not uncommon in the tech world and your choice whether you take the option given. Support for a product does not go on forever there has to be a cutoff point this device has hit it. To provide an Example in 2011 when your X3 device was made Apple had the iPhone 4s they discontinued that in 2016 5 years later. Our X3 device has been around since 2009 and only got discontinued in 2021 when we finally ran out of components etc. This is a very generous timeline in the tech world.


    Discontinued means we do not have parts or software in house to fix your device we stretched what we had parts wise all the way til 2021 as stated above. Thus, the generous discount that is offered to get into a "Brand New" device.

    Just got off phone with sct and will never buy anything else from this company. I have the x4 tuner and traded in the truck at the dealer forgetting I needed to return it to stock to use the tuner again. I offfer to send in dealer paperwork and just get a no we won't help only pay $200 to remote unlock. Unbelievable a company wouldn't work with a customer Just to push a button to reset the device. Please avoid this company if you have a problem in the future they are not going to help you.

Unfortunately, we do see this situation happen quite a bit and our standard policy is to charge the standard unlock fee which is currently $200.
