    In April 2024 my daughter ******* ******** and I, ******* ******** (co-signer) applied for a student loan from Meritize for $5,303.37 for AAA Dental School for an Dental Assistant Training Program. The school canceled all classes and said they were going to reschedule the classes from June to another month. We called several times and they said they are not sure when they will have the class schedule. We said we want to cancel the class. They asked us to call Meritize Mohela to cancel. We canceled and they said everything is fine we won't owe anything. AAA Dental School still received the payment cashed it and closed their door. Now we have a bill of $5,303.37.

    03/15/2024. The school called me and said they need to cancel all classes and we will receive a refund. I called Meritize and I asked to cancel the loan. They said it was already received by the school. I have been calling to school and all numbers have been disconnected. All campuses have closed. I called ************ and left several messages. No reply. They accepted the funds from ******** even after they already canceled all classes.

    I signed up for this course and paid for it in January. I did not take the course at all and asked for a refund on the $4000 plus I paid for this class minus the reasonable fee associated with holding my seat and was told by Amanda they do not give refunds if I do not attend the class I will not receive a refund cause the have held my seat. To take $4000 plus and say I receive nothing back isn't right or good business. Sorry I had to take it this far but I'm not getting anywhere asking for a refund directly.
