  UPDATE: 06.06.24 - White Sands finished our pool resurfacing with WetEdge Deep Sea Blue Pebble and it came out fantastic! They started 5/20/24 and fired up the filled pool by 6/3/24. They were always on time with their schedule and very pleasant to work with. The office always answered my calls and ***** and ****** were able to answer my questions every time. Their team was just great and I would give 100 stars if I could. Thank you again for completing my project so quickly and beautifully!05.18.24 - I just started working with White Sands recently and thus far they have been amazing!! Every time I call their office, someone answers and they are able to tell me the status of my job. Each person I speak with is so pleasant. ***** came out to give me my initial estimate, he was prompt, ******** and was able to give me a very reasonable quote onsite. Their terms are fair and scheduling was easy. They started my job on time and ***** was the 1st person to come out and get the jobsite prepared. He explained the process to me, checked everything out and made sure my pool was prepared properly for the finish. He is also very kind and professional. I have "PTSD" from working with other contractors so it has been so refreshing to work with a company that values your time and business. I will keep you posted on the job but I could not wait to give them a great review! Photos to come...

  Let me start with White Sands did a great job on the pool refinish. They were not great at communicating scheduling. The proposal included a bright white LED pool light. This company completed (3) commercial pools at the property. Mid 2021 the lights were replaced. The pool light failed in mid 2023. The lights were on for about 3 hours per day in the summer and 5 hours per day in the winter months. When the company was contacted about the issue, they didn't have any record of the type of light that was or should have been installed and would not warranty or replace the light. The condominium's pool cleaning contractor inspected the lights to find standard incandescent light fixtures installed. They were replaced at a rate of $400 per fixture to an LED. Late 2023 the other (2) lights are failing and need to be replaced. We suspect that they will be found to be incandescent lights installed as well. It doesn't make sense to cheap out on a light fixture when they installed transformers with electrical wiring and conduit.

  In response to your review, we looked up your contract and found that the signed contract was signed for incandescent lights on the East pool (2). Those lights come with a 3-year manufacturers warranty when registered by the pool owner. The West pool contract had originally had the option for a White LED light, but it was crossed off the contract and the invoice reflected that as well as there was no price included or light included on that invoice. We also have a service ticket referring to the original light in the West Pool as it had not been changed during the renovation.
