    ast Friday evening my unit flooded, resulting in about 1-1.5 inches of water in the bathroom and bedroom. This was the result of a shared pipe that was heavily clogged by an upstairs unit. I have linoleum floors. I googled and called a company for water extraction. Sadly, the company I happened upon was DRI PRO RESTORATION out of Santa Rosa Beach. The good news is that they came right out. The bad news is that they try to rip off every owner (or insurance company). They do mediocre work (missed some water in plain sight the first time) that they label with fancy names then charge outrageous amounts. I refused to let them do anything more than get the water up, dry and dehumidify the room. They left the equipment over the weekend and on Tuesday morning I told them to remove it and did not authorize any of the extras that they insisted (scare tactics) that needed to be done. Then I received their bill of $2,754.68!!
    Then my condo’s CAM and I spoke with the owner, Jeff Thompson, about the bill and he constantly interrupted me, and talked over me most of the conversation. He was aggressive and rude.
    Spread the word and don’t allow this company to rob anyone else in the surrounding areas!!
    As a follow up to my earlier negative review- after posting it earlier today, tonight I received threatening texts from the owner, Jeff Thompson. And today his office manager is calling and texting me asking me to take down my reviews. Maybe this man should take ownership for his bad behavior and in the future, think twice about how he conducts his business.
    Need I say more!
