    We recently experienced intermittent A/C shutdowns this week and contacted Custom Climate. Their customer service representative was friendly and efficient, promptly scheduling an appointment. We appreciated the text notification with a picture of our technician, *******, letting us know he was on his way. ******* quickly diagnosed the problem and had our A/C running again in no time. We were so impressed with the service that we decided to enroll in their maintenance program, which seems very reasonable and a smart financial decision. We would highly recommend Custom Climate!

    I scheduled a spring maintenance with Custom Climate Concepts, and the whole process was convenient and easy. I really appreciated that they sent a photo of the technician before the appointmentit made me feel more comfortable knowing who to expect. *******, the technician, was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain things I wasnt aware of, which I really appreciated. It made me feel confident in the service I was receiving. Great experience overallthank you!

    Very grateful for ***** ***** as he was so kind, thoughtful, and patient with my 86 year old motherrecently her AC unit stopped working for a few daysShe called and ***** was right there to help. I met ***** the next day as he brought over an AC unit to keep her cool & comfortable, then on Monday the team installed a new system and we are so grateful that everything went seamless with no issues! Thank you for all you do! ****

    We have hired this company to replace our air handler in 2022. The invoice said five years parts warranty. I was never given a copy of the warranty and as such I did not know what is covered and not covered.We had a recent malfunction in our AC system, and I hired them to repair it under the impression that parts would be covered. It comes out that it is not as it is not related to the air handler. They also charged me $159.00 which was supposed to be absorbed if I gave them the job. I would not have hired this company if I had a copy of the warranty and known that only air handler related problems are covered. I have a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty that covers the entire system for a $60 service call. Even after all this and my request to receive a copy of the warranty was not attended to.I would not hire them again.

    Mr. ******* we are sorry you did not receive the pricing you had expected. That is discouraging and let us try an explain. Warranty's can be confusing because a parts warranty provided by manufacturer does not include our labor to install the part. We provide a 1 year labor warranty to replace failed part if we installed the equipment. You did indeed purchase an air handler from us in August of 2022 but that is not relevant for failed parts in your condenser, which was not purchased or installed at the same time as the air handler.

    The $159 was our cost to come out to your home after hours on a Saturday to diagnose your system. We always disclose that amount prior to dispatching a technician and you did agree on the amount during the phone call. Your initial call to us was at 11:02 am on Saturday August, 31, 2024 and by 12:45 pm we had your system repaired and cooling. 1 hour and 43 minutes after your initial call your system was cooling. That seems like pretty good service.  Our diagnosis fee is not applied towards cost of repair. We are sorry there was some confusion over that $159. We do tell our customers that prior to dispatching a technician the diagnosis fee is not applied to any repair costs.

    You have a home warranty policy with someone else and that likely would have been less expensive to repair your system had you called them. That process is often times slower by a couple of days and it is uncertain they would have had your system up and cooling less than 2 hours from the time of your initial call. We were pleased to serve you on that August Saturday and hope we can serve you in the future.

    We have used Custom Climate since buying our house in March, 2023. Our service has been excellent and the techs have been friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The office staff is efficient and we had no trouble scheduling appointments. We joined the preventative maintenance club and someone comes out twice a year for maintenance. Custom Climate is doing a great job for us!

    What a breath of fresh air! Our heat pump was not working and a technician arrived within a couple of hours of us calling Custom Climate. We received a text message when Custom Climate was on the way including a picture of the technician who would be at our home. The office staff was friendly and helped us avoid a dispatch fee because we joined their preventative maintenance membership club. We saved enough money on dispatch fee and repairs to pay for the membership, so it was basically free. The technician indicated our AC could be repaired and we also asked for a new system estimate. He provided a builder grade estimate and a 2nd estimate of a higher end system that was more efficient and quieter. It was our first time using Custom Climate and they did a great job for us.

    The AC unit in our house is only 1 year old. No issues at all until we got this “maintenance check up”1week ago and now the AC is struggling to keep up. My daughter has an AC that is less than a year old, but on Monday you did a “maintenance checkup” and today her AC stopped working. I called the company and was told that we would be charged an emergency fee to come out, I asked to speak with a manager but then no one would call me back. In addition at the ‘maintenance check up’ both technicians tried to sell us thousands of dollars worth of things that we didn’t need. Seriously this is such a shameful ‘company’. I regret dealing with you.

    The 2 system are at different locations and were serviced by 2 different maintenance technicians on 2 different dates. We have spoken via phone with the author of this review. We did send a service technician out to daughter's home on Sunday, 7/7/24, to evaluate the ** system. Customer stated that system had frozen up. System had thawed out by time we arrived and we tested a number of different items and all items were working properly including the fan motor. If a part is failing it was not evident which part as all items were working properly during our visit.  When we left home at about 2:50 pm on 7/7/24 the system was running properly. We have asked the customer to monitor the system and if it freezes up again to please call us immediately and leave the system running. We did not charge the customer for the service call.

    The author of this message indicated a 2nd system at another address was struggling to keep up a few days after a maintenance check up. During our phone call it was further explained that the home was about 78 degrees despite the thermostat being set several degrees cooler. They indicated on 7/8/24 that as of this time they do not want us to come out and evaluate that system as to why it is not cooling better.

    Ive used Custom Climate services for over two years now and have constantly received reliable, friendly and great quality service and advice from their technical staff. I receive bi-annual service reminders (which helps because im forgetful) to maintain my a/c help and prevent unwanted expensive repairs or replacements. Scheduling appointments has been easy and efficient too, no one wants to spend more time than needed on servicing their household equipment. Glad to say they do the job well each time which is why I continue to use their services. Thank you!
