Welcome to *****************, ***** and ********! Thank you so much for your kind words and for trusting Veteran Air during such a big transition in your lives. Were thrilled to hear that ******* *. was able to deliver the fast, reliable service you needed. Same-day service is something we take great pride in, and it means the world to us that we could help put your minds at ease during this exciting (and hectic!) time. Many of us moved our families many times during our time in the military, so we can empathize!
Were honored to be your go-to team in Florida, and we look forward to supporting you in your new home for years to come.
Warm regards,

1 starThe technician was excellent! Very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and technically sound. I have used Veteran Air solely for the last several years. However, charging me $1800 to install a $500 **** ***** 40 gallon hot water heater is obscene. The water heater was bought separately and not included in the $1800 service fee.It took the technician TWO HOURS to install. How do you justify $900 an hour? Yes they put in an expander and yes, there were a couple of pipes and some sort of warranty (which sounded extremely minimal to me)! Be ready to pay through the roof if you use this company. Veteran Air used to be a wonderful company run by veterans until it was bought out and now there’s no Veterans involved and the pricing is ludicrous and greedy! They had me over a barrel. I had no hot water and I had family coming in the next day. I had asked for a ballpark figure over the phone the day before. They would not give me one. However, I was told by the technician that this was a “service package”price…so why didn’t they give me the service package price over the phone? I could have called other companies to get a better price. Pretty tricky business strategy if you ask me. I am totally disgusted with what this company has turned into and I will not use them in the fall when I need a new air conditioner installed (~$10,000)! So penny wise and pound foolish! Do not use this company unless you’re ready to pay through the roof!!Review fromAlena B

1 starI called to schedule a tech to go out and service the AC at one of the rental properties. The majority of the time our HVAC issues are clogged drain lines. The tech called with his diagnosis and said both float switches were bad and needed to be replaced and the drain line was clogged. The quote he gave me was $960. The HVAC knowledge I have is from experience, but the price he quoted me seemed sky high so I didn't approve the drain line replacement and told him to only clear the drain line and I will look into the float switches. The tech called me 10 mins later to tell me he cleared the drainline and discovered an uncapped line in the bottom of the AC handler closet that had let water run on the floor. He said he capped the line and miraculously both of the float switches started working again. If I would have approved the float switch replacement 10 mins prior I would have been charged to fix something that wasn't even broken. He said the total for clearing the drain line was $320 which is more than double the price it should be and what have paid many other vendors in the past. When I booked the appointment I was told there was service call fee that would be deducted from any work that the tech had to do which is not what happened. This entire experience has left me wondering how honest was this tech about this service call? Most HVAC techs receive commission and I can't help but feel like he was trying to rip me off which also could have gotten me in trouble with my job. I manage almost 500 rental homes and have never had this type of experience with any AC repairs. As iff all of that wasn't enough I went back through this properties work orders and discovered that we paid Veteran Air $1800 for a different repair in February 2025. The unit is barely a yr old! I called the office the next day and was told I needed to speak with a manger, but no one was available. I was told a manager would call me before the end of the week and no one ever called!Review fromMaria M

1 starA Veteran Air tech came out and gave a quote of $525 to replace a wax seal on a toilet. A wax ring is about $10. I called around and the average cost is $80. This company is grossly overcharging a senior community; they should be ashamed!Review fromJan M

1 starI recently had my 6-month maintenance HVAC service checkup done and for the 1st time had a very negative experience. I was told by the technician that I needed $425 worth of replacements/maintenance done on my unit, they installed, that is only 5 yrs years and has been meticulously maintained. Six months ago I was told the system was in perfect working order, what happened in 6 months? After attending a business dinner last week and hearing a discussion about AC companies, everyone at the table had the same story, same issue and were told they needed the same replacements as I by Veterans Air and everyone had the same opinion, do not trust Veterans. I had to even ask for a receipt today, I didn't automatically receive one at the time service was performed. After exchanging phone messages and never actually talking to anyone, I feel anyone considering Veterans should be aware their word of honesty doesn't mean much. I have contacted other HVAC persons, and have been told I did not need replacements to my system. I feel mislead by dishonesty and would caution you, Beware. I have them chances for a resolution, but now get no return calls.Veteran Air, Heating & Electrical

5 starsI'm writing to let the owner and managers of the Veteran **************** know of two truly outstanding employees i interacted with today. First of all, I called the Veteran ******************** line this morning and spoke with ************************. **** was very helpful, but said the first available appointment would be tomorrow late afternoon. I told ********** would take it, but I was concerned for my wife, who has asthma. **** said she would do everything she could to get a technician out sooner. About 30 minutes after hanging up, **** called to tell me that a technician would be out today! I have to say, I did not really expect her to continue to work the issue after I hung up. I was simply resigned to the fact that it would be tomorrow before anyone could respond. However, that was not the case. From a customer service perspective, this was absolutely outstanding service! But it gets even better. The Veteran Air technician who responded, a *****************************, was absolutely top notch! I believe I'm qualified to make such an assessment because I worked as an airport engineer for more than 30 years in charge of all of the airport's maintenance shops, including electric, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and material control. So, I recognize a good craftsman when I see one, and I would rate ****** as one of the best. He very quickly checked out my system and zeroed in on the issue (a bad thermostat). As he was working, he explained what he was doing, and why. Based on his explanations, it was clear to me that he is an expert at what he does. Moreover, based on my experience with these two employees, I have to assume that Veteran Air hires only the highest quality people, and I thank them for that. Both **** and ****** are excellent representative of the customer service and **************** as well as of the owner and managers of the Veteran ****************. As an old military veteran myself, I salute their service!Veteran Air, Heating & Electrical

1 starI used them to replace a tankless hotwater heater and was charged 4200. I did not have time to get a second quote as I was going out of town and they had availability to do the job. I usually use Air and Energy, but they did not have time to do it before I left. Right after it was installed Air and Energy called with a cancellation. I felt $4200. was high so I asked Air and Energy what they charge.....they installed the original and have serviced it every year so they are familiar and they quoted me $1800. for the EXACT same make and model. I was so ticked that I called *******'s Plumbing for a quote and they quoted $2100. After reviewing my invoice I saw that I was charged $847. for a service that they did not perform. I called Veterans and they refunded that amount, but even after that I paid double what I should have. Both Air and Energy and ******** said it was a very simple switch out so parts and labor should have been very minimal.....I was charged $3400 just for the heater which both of the other comanies quoted under $1000. I think they took advantage of me knowing that I needed the job done before going out of town as I had guests house sitting. They also sold me a service package that for $249. that I did not want or need, but they said it was part of a package that reduced the cost of the hotwater heater. I asked them to refund that or I would like to exercise my right to cancel my contract and have the heater removed, but after several messages they never returned my call. Being that they were able to do the work before I left when the others couldn't, I appreciated that and would not have minded paying extra for the the expidited service, but not over double. Also. I was told they were a local family owned business with Veteran ties and their website states the same, but after researching it looks like it was sold to a conglomerate and no longer family owned nor do they have Veteran ties. I will say that the installation tech was wonderful.Veteran Air, Heating & Electrical

5 starsWe needed electrical work done rather quickly, as we are preparing our condominium for seasonal rental. We also had the challenge of working with contractors remotely as we are not local to the area. Via the Better Business Bureau's website, I provided a detailed, 30-item list of repairs and updates that we needed as well as the very short timeline. Within 24 hours, *************************** was at the property, reviewing the list (even called me twice for clarification on the requests and provided recommendations). The estimate was sent before the end of the day, and ****** took a call in the evening to review and discuss. Impressed by the level of customer service and care ****** took with us, we chose Veteran's to complete the work. Subsequent to agreeing to the estimate, our appointment was scheduled to arrive within 2 days. ****** understood the importance of getting this work done quickly which we truly appreciated.*************** and *************************** completed the work. Because of logistical challenges with another contractor as well as availability of some fixtures, they kindly completed all of the work they were able to do, and then returned the following week to hang the fixtures (and then came back again when one of the fixtures did not work and needed to be replaced). We appreciated this level of flexibility, especially knowing they had to make multiple trips. On ****'s third trip out to us, I did ask about a few things that didn't quite meet my expectations - he went through the challenges (the building is old so limited options), and talked through the choices he made of which I agreed. That level of transparency and confidence was refreshing. Veteran's level of customer care, responsiveness, and patience we received from ****** and **** was truly appreciated. We are thankful to both of these fine gentlemen - the trust we had in them to care for our property helped us rest easy hundreds of miles away.Veteran Air, Heating & Electrical
