I will happily provide a copy of the contract and permit to anyone who would like to stop by and read through this along with documented conversations. This woman is angry that her husband did not read the contract, they purchase 4 accordions when she wanted 6. We installed the 4 accordions that were listed on the signed contract, these have been inspected by the county and the building permit has been closed out. She feels we should have know what she actually wanted and is demanding the additional two accordion for free. In spite on being a nasty hateful woman we offered to provide these two shutters at our cost, she agreed to this and yet continued to lie and spread lies. We are no longer offering any shutters to her at any cost. She has paid and received exactly what was contracted to be done. She is using this worthless website to extort us to get what she wants for free. This all over a few hundred dollars of accordions should really tell you everything you need to know about this woman. We are now suing her for libel.
If the BBB had any integrity the would investigate these insane claims before allowing this behavior. No one should ever believe anything written on the BBB site as proof of anything, all they are looking for is $ out of small business owners.

Initially there were supposed to be 6 accordions, her husband didn't feel that was necessary, so the contract was reduced to 4 accordions. Our system was in the midst of being converted to job costing and the invoice was incorrectly generated with the original number of accordions. She knows this and has been very clear that she doesn't care. She wants these for free and has threatened to terrorize us via reviews and social media until she gets what she wants. She feels we should never have listened to her husband. She does not want to be responsible for signing a contract and not reading it. Everything on this contract has been installed and approved by the building **** and we have been paid in full. If anything had been missing, we would not have invoiced for it, nor would she have paid us in full.

I am rejecting this response because:We Ordered 6. and only 4 were insulted. We never changed our minds as in order to get a discounted on our insurance we needed to put all 6 in.Some one at their office in bookkeeping made a mistake her name was ***** and was fired from her job (because of this mistake and others) I was told that by one of the employees. and I asked why we were not informed of this and ****** an employee said he had the right to change this to change the Invoice. Had we been informed this whole mess would not have taken place. I only talked to you BBB about this and one other family . I talked to **** and **** **** *** because they recommended this company and I was afraid we had picked up on the wrong company as they had good things to say about the company and we were not receiving the same good service. We have been friends of them for over 20 years and we got into a conversation with them about the problems we were having and ***** got angry about that. We only paid in full because they threatened us with a law suit and we were not used to things like that as having been in business from 1975 to 1999 We are both 80 and never want to go through something like this again. I finally came to the conclusion we would give us and buy the 2 shudders to get this over and they refused to sell them ti ys

We contracted with Sun and ***** Systems, LLC to install 5 Progressive Hurricane screens on our lanai on November 1, 2022. The owner, *****, came to our house and took measurements and gave us an estimate which was $25,000 (plus tax). We accepted the bid and promptly gave him 50% down as required ($12,500). He told us it would take 16 weeks. I patiently waited and never heard back. I called and spoke to a person called ******. He said our screens were in and then scheduled for them to be installed on Feb. 22, 2023. The team arrived on time and I think there were 3-4 men. As they were installing the screens, they noticed one of the screens (the very small one) was measured wrong and did not fit and had to be refabricated. The main guy said it could take up to a month. We said okay, but then he asked for the remaining balance of $12,500 plus tax to be paid. The contract we signed said balance in full upon completion of the job. We said no, but wanted to show good faith and gave an additional $5900 and we would owe on completion $7000. The man became very upset because he could not collect the balance and ***** would be furious. In addition, we had the remote that worked the 4 installed screens and he wanted it back so we could not work the 4 installed screens. We said no and wanted the use of the 4 screens since we paid the lion share of the bill. We got a phone call from ****** asking for the money and then the owner showed up, very hostile and tried to force his way in to my house. I told him to meet me around back. He proceeded to make racist remarks about his worker who was "stupid" and this work was not "curing cancer" and that they did not understand the business and that we should only talk to him. He wanted the money and remote back. We said when the corrected 5th screen was installed. He delayed returning until today, 3/15 and then instructed his men to walk off the job. He threatened my husband with physical force and called my husband racist. I ran out of room...Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I received your message concerning the above mentioned company's failure to respond to BBB's questions. I am not surprised. ********************* has failed to answer us, but has sent a letter through an attorney addressing my report of his company to BBB and the construction licensing board. I have included my version of the story and his lawyer's version of the story. I do not feel I should be bullied to pay ************** before the work is finished and inspected. The product has been poorly installed and one of the 4 (supposed to have 5) screens goes up and down by itself and our house fuse blows due to faulty wiring. This work has not been inspected as of yet. We had a person from MagnaTrack come to estimate the work it would take to correct this faulty install and complete the job according to "*******************" high standard. We are missing many parts including a remote to control the screens. We have contacted BBB, the licensing board, the police and finally our own lawyer. I am just telling the truth and nothing is slanderous! I will not be bullied and forced to avoid giving an honest review of this company. They will only return to this job if I refrain from stating my truth. At this point, I am afraid of ************** and do not want him on my property as he threatened my husband bodily harm last we spoke on 3/15/23. We have paid this man $18,800 and supposedly owed him $7000 when the job was completed according to his contract. I'd rather use the remaining $7000 to pay MagnaTrack to complete the job-we would at least get a warranty and not be afraid to call for future repairs-as everything in life eventually needs repair and I am sure ************** would never return or stand behind his work.

All went fine from quote and install. the screens were installed and passed the inspection on Feb 28th. After 2/3 weeks of install, one screen started to make soft banging noises when it goes up or down. I did notify Sun & Storm systems as it started to happen sometime in April and they told me that they knew exactly what caused the issue. We left Florida for a long road trip in confidence knowing that our screen issue would be taken care of. Once a month, in May and June I spoke with company representatives and told them that I would appreciate some feedback as to when I could expect that screen to be fixed. The third month in July I sent an email that in the absence of any feedback I had to reconsider my options. This triggered an immediate hostile/ aggressive response from the company. I asked them again in a civil manner just to send someone to fix the issue. We are now 8 months later after the inspection and I am still waiting for the company to have a look and fix this issue.Customer Answer

I did hear from the business and they came back to "repair" the defaulting product. On a brand new system that failed after two weeks of service one would expect parts of the system or the whole system to be replaced. Instead of this, workers came by and added a little screw to the system to make it work again. presumably with the manufacturer's blessing (unverifiable and doubtful).After 7 months of waiting and getting some very angry emails from that company I decided to let it go.
