From the fall of 2021, I entered an agreement with ********* and ***************** of Promise Construction Group, (PCG).They attempted to remove flooring on two separate dates without giving me any notification personally. I only found out about the expected floor removal from the homeowner's association one day before the floors were to be removed and no plan in place for what would follow.I specifically, shared at that time, with both ********* and ***************** that I would need to be notified a bit more in advance as to what their plans were. Specifically, when would the actual demolition - renovation start once the floors were removed. I stated that I was aware that dates could change invariably, based on labor shortages, supply chain issues, but that I just needed to get a sense of how they were planning to proceed. Particularly as once the floors were removed, which are in pristine condition, that the unit would not be livable thereafter.Again, they set up floor removal with less than 48 hours notification and no plan in place for how or what would follow. We agreed to meet and discuss details before a third misstep.I met with ********* and **** now 4 months later, March 2022 at PCG's office, we agreed that they would remove the floors on June 20th, and I paid about 24% of the total $300,000 renovation, mostly to cover bathroom and kitchen cabinetry orders, *************************** terminated the contract on June 19th, in a text message, ***************** a day later stated she overreacted and would handle everything going forward He seemed sincere. He then stopped all communication, thereafter, never pulled a building permit, never did a day of work, not a single refund of the $79K, and never ordered any cabinetry, much of which the initial invoice was to cover.********* and ***************** remain unwilling to be accountable for their actions, as it related to inaccurate bookkeeping, accounting, no work done, no building permit, most concerning where is the $79,0000
