  BBB received a pattern of consumer complaint activity concerning refunding issues. Specifically, consumer complaints allege that they were upset with service and had issues receiving the refund after.
  
  In March 2022, BBB contacted the business in order to obtain their position.
  
  "I'm in receipt of your letter regarding Certified Sports Guaranty (CSG), one of the Certified Collectibles Group of Companies.
  
  I commend my previous letter of September 30, 2021. (Copy attached.) While the earlier letter was written on behalf of Certified Guaranty Company (CGC Trading Cards), an affiliate, the basic factual background is essentially the same with regards to CSG.
  
  Fortunately, I can report that CSG has actually worked through its backlog. We actually issued a story about it just the other day.

  In fact, CGC Trading Cards has also made substantial progress working through its backlog.

  As most of the prior complaints about CSG dealt with the issue of turn-around time, I expect that we will be seeing fewer and fewer complaints with regard to CSG, now that that backlog of submissions has been cleared.
  
  (Unfortunately, we are now seeing a larger backlog in our CGC Comics division; indeed, that is where we are seeing the bulk of new customer complaints.)
  
  I hope that this gives you context in the trends of complaints. Please know that, as always, we do take these BBB Complaints seriously and I strive to keep current in responding to them and addressing them on the substance. There will, no doubt, be some cases in which we are not able to reach resolution, but the vast majority we can.
