All of my documentation is in my vehicles glove box which is currently still at AAMCO. I took my 2010 ****** Ultima Coupe there have the transmission rebuilt and payed **** dollars. They had my vehicle for almost a month when I went to get it. 400 miles later my vehicle left me stranded when the transmission failed. The vehicle was towed back to AAMCO in which they had my vehicle another month. A week later my vehicle started making a screaming noise at **** rpms and above. I take my vehicle back again to AAMCO where I am told that there is nothing wrong with it , clearly that is untrue. I decided to take it to a different AAMCO and was told that there was clearly something wrong with it but they couldnt fix it that I had to take it back to where I had the work done because of the warranty. Now currently my vehicle is setting at AAMCO and has been there for another month. I have called several times but keep getting excuses like they are busy, personal issues. This is not my problem and I have told them that. I feel like they are jerking me around until April when my warranty expires. I have put **** miles on my vehicle in a little less then 18 months because Im afraid I will be stranded. Would like to have my vehicle fixed properly and a extended 12 month warranty. This has been a huge hassle for me to get to and from work over almost 18 months and costly.

The customer is correct, there is something wrong with the transmission and needs to be repaired under warranty. We have therefore removed the transmission from the vehicle and it currently is being rebuilt by our master builder. I am unable to  give an exact date of completion at this stage but I will undertake to extend the customers warranty by the sum of all the time that the vehicle has spent in the shop under warranty repairs. I hope that this will allay the customers concerns that we are attempting to "mark time" until his warranty expires.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Giving me time lost on the vehicle warranty sounds acceptable but I would also like a adjustment on my bill for the cost of me having to get to and from work all these months I didnt have a car.

    Sincerely,

I brought my car in with a transmission issue, after being charged 4700.11 dollars for a complete transmission rebuild I picked up my car and noticed the transmission still was not right. I brought it back the next day, and after they had it for 2 weeks they call me o tell me the car overheated and cracked a head. the car had never overheated previously. i had the car towed to the dealer and there was an 320 miles extra on the car and the dealer found that the car was run with no coolant. engine block cracked requiring a new engine. had to replace the engine on the car to then find out the transmission was still not fixed. the employee Shaun took my car home personally and caused the damage. my car car is a a 2011 ford Taurus SHO which is a twin turbo car from factory. He obviously took my car on joy rides and probably was racing it. once i finally got the motor replaced the dealer informed me the transmission was still having issues. Aamco did not want to take any responsability for the damage caused to the car and his 320 mile test drive. that is the short version, i have documantation to support this.
