    I initially booked a CLT course in ******, with a few extra days planned, so that I could spend some time there after class to recover from 9 back to back 11+ hour days of instructor led training.The first class was cancelled on me with less than a month of notice, but got rescheduled from November 2024 to March of 2025, so I rebooked my trip at a loss of about $400 do to not being able to get full refunds on my original travel/lodging.The second class was also cancelled, this time with less than 3 weeks notice, and this time I was told that the Hawaii class was not going to be rescheduled. Instead I was offered the opportunity to reschedule at one of their other locations, and that one option was *******, a week earlier in March. I took it despite the fact that I dislike *******, and due to short notice, just a small hotel room in ******* was more expensive than what I had paid to book roundtrip airfare+lodging when the class was scheduled in *******After two cancellations, I finally started class in March, however my classmates and I were saddled with a verbally abusive instructor (Dr ****** *******) who yelled at and bullied students regularly, with extra abuse for students she had taken a dislike to. The instructor also did not supply adequate supplies for bandaging practice and expected students to share bandage materials which were reused for almost the entire duration of the 7 days I attended the class.After multiple anxiety attacks resulting from the behavior of our instructor, I dropped out on day 7 of 9, even though I had already passed the written final exam that morning. I have requested a refund of the tuition as I will never take a class with ACOLS or recommend them again, however it's been 2 days with no response since my request was sent to their "Executive team" .

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!On 07/16/2024, I paid for their lymphedema course to obtain certification to further my education/career. Within the same day, I spoke with *** ***** to request a refund since I was told the ** course was cancelled due to lack of students registering for the class. I called every other day to follow up and see if my refund would be processed - they continued to state that the CEO or accounting department would need to approve this and they would "follow-up". Fast forward to November/December 2024, *** ***** stated my refund would be addressed and they would return my call to give me an update. It is now January 2025 and I still have yet to receive my refund which has also delayed my ability to continue my education and obtain a certification to served an underserved community because they stole $3350.00 from me.

    Poor customer service and poor business practices! I originally paid 3150 to take the CLT course and wasnt able to complete the course because my son was hospitalized with RSV. ACOLs reached out to me this summer asking whether I would like to take the course since I wasnt able to do so previously. I obliged and reviewed the course catalog and schedule. I realized that they had new course offerings that were better suited for my interest and schedule and spoke with their staff about taking those courses instead. I asked if it would be just and even swap and I was told no. The staff member (****) stated that it wouldnt be an issue and Id just get a refund for the difference. *** was aware of the plan and never said anything to the contrary. I was told it would take up to 6 weeks to process the refund and to call back if there were any issues. Its been six weeks and Ive taken the two smaller courses. Ive emailed and called repeatedly with no response. I finally called from a different phone number and was told by *** that they were no longer planning to refund the difference between what I paid vs what I received (after **** said and she was aware of the agreed upon refund). If ACOLS had no intentions on providing said refund, I should have been informed this PRIOR to taking the *** and advanced ***.**** excuse is **** no longer works there. This conversation occurred in June or earlier and **** was there up until late July possibly so this is no excuse not to honor what was discussed.

    I signed up and fully paid to take a class in May of 2024. They called a few days before to cancel due to an instructor being sick. They told me they would reschedule the class and call back. A month goes by and know one called me back. I reach out and on top of not rescheduling the class it isnt even going to happen this year in my area. I started a refund right away and was told it would take 45 days. It's been over ************************************************************************************************************** their weekly meetings multiple times. As well as being told I would get a call back from ***. I call twice a week and have never been called back. Nothing has been refunded. I'm just being spun in circles to try and get over $1000 back. Would not recommend this business if you intend on taking a class at all.

    This Company is Unable to provide instructors in areas with paying participants. Unable to communicate with participants about the status of the classes, allowing students so pay full tuition without providing the class at all, ever. The refund process hasn't been easy or completed. It's been 70 plus days since I asked for my refund and still haven't received it and I've gotten little to no communication pertaining to the reason why my refund is taking so long. The only reason I knew the Hands On class wasn't going to be happening was because another therapist told me that their class in ************** was cancelled and hadn't been notified. They spent money on the flights and hotel stay that they couldn't be reimbursed for. After they warned me not to go through ACOLS I had already finished my online course and payed my tuition. I initiated my refund knowing the class wasn't going to happening in ******** MT on May 20 2024. It is now August 1st. My hands on class was supposed to be held on July *****th and I am still worried I won't receive the large sum of money that I have nothing to show for. I've now reached out to customer service and called daily to check in and hopefully hear good news. I've been told by once of there employees that my situation is being taken to a supervisor to be spoken to a CEO in a meeting today Aug. 1st '24, and then they will give me some information about my refund. Its 3:05 Mountain Time and i still have heard nothing. Very disappointed in this experience.
