I hired Sandpiper Pest Control in August 2023 for ********* ants in my house, for $225.00. In September they came back at no charge because the ants came back. They sent *****. He went in the attic and put ant pellets in right & left corner and sprayed something. A while later strong fumes were coming out of the vents in my ceiling and worse when AC was on. I am so sick, burning eyes, sore throat everyday off balance and dizzy. I didn't know what was happening. About a month later I called the owner **** and asked one question. The ********* ant pellets that they put outside, can they go in the attic. He said absolutely not. As soon as I said, ***** put them in the attic he changed his mind and said we have pellets for certain ants and pellets for ********* ants. The next week I called **** and asked can ***** come back and vacuum them out. He said no because they are mixed in with insulation and would break the vacuum. **** said they talked about it before I asked and he never logged it in which is illegal. **** came over, sent a girl in attic, could not find pellets because he said to tiny to see. Then in Oct. I had a mold test I paid $350 for that came out fine. I November I called someone for voc test $616.50 I have formaldehyde and another chemical that comes from the pellets. I called **** over my house again , now he says ***** didn't put pellets. He is lieing. I have old air ducts with a hole in the seam so all the toxins are in my house. I have been so sick for 4 months. I got new air ducts for $4000.00 and new insulation for $1200 to fix problem but didn't. The second time **** came over I asked him for help but not getting any. I have low income and I'm 64 years old. I can't stay in my house for one hour . I am homeless now my house is poison sometimes I sleep in my car. I have a house worth $300,000 and can't live in it. I have no place to go. This is his responsibility. If I get no help I will call my lawyer.

      ****************

We are sorry that you are having respiratory problems at your home. I will continue to state that we are not the cause of the issues in your home. As I have told you from the beginning, my technician did not use the "pellets " you say he did. .It was not recorded on the service ticket as were the actual products he used at your home. As a courtesy we went into the attic to see if possibly they could be there. Both myself and my inspector did not see any pellets scattered about on the insulation or ductwork. We have pictures from that inspection which also shows no pellets anywhere in your attic. I am unsure of your reasoning why you thought an extra layer of insulation in your attic was necessary. I know we were not consulted by you about this action before you took it. The *** would never approve for use of a product to use in homes that would have the effect on people that you claim it does.

Regarding formaldehyde in your home, the products used at your home do not contain it or produce it. I researched both the **** and Label of the products used and formaldehyde is non-existent. However, in my research I discovered that cigarette smoke contains quite a bit of formaldehyde. I know you are a smoker. There is a strong odor of cigarette smoke in your home, garage and even as we approach your front porch. Both myself and one of my technicians experienced an irritation in our throats in the short time we were at your home. Please take a few moments to consider the information in this article regarding cigarette smoke and formaldehyde:

    ****************************************************************************************************************.

I know you had several different inspections of your home to determine the cause of your problem.  We even arranged for the mold inspection in an effort to help you. I have suggested that you consult a doctor. I am not sure if you did or not. .I hope you find the actual problem at your home and get it resolved.

    Sincerely, *******************
