Since this incident happened in late 2022 my roof tiles in the back of my house was damaged by epic landscaping. Additionally they damage the wall behind our home with their machine. When they conducted their tree cutting they allow limbs and seeds from the trees in back of my house to land on the roof tile causing damages. I have provided pictures, I have sent email to the master association, I have called several times since then and Ive had no accountability from anyone at epic landscaping company. My open claim was not addressed therefore it exceeded the one year timeframe. In the previous year all home owner from Sub 5 worked with our property manager to replace all broken and damaged tiles in 2021. The following year in 2022, epic landscaping team damage roof tiles in the back of our house when they performed tree cutting. My wife and I are requesting that epic landscaping company take accountability and repair all the damages to my home roof tiles. Additionally we have provided this information to our sub property manager, and the master association, and to epic landscaping administrative team. We are still waiting for a resolution which has not happened up to this point. Again, we are seeking for epic landscaping to take accountability in repairing our damage roof tiles and damages to the wall in the back of our house. We have not looked for a company to repair the broken tiles because were following the master association process of working with the vendor to remediate the current situation.

Location of Incident: My Vehicle was parked in front of my home

    Description of Damage:
Epic Landscaping workers were using blower machines near my vehicle. Location of scratches on my car: Left hand side of the hood, driver side.
Complaints regarding this issue had previously been made and reported to the Business owner on Thursday, 9/12/2024 at 7:14 PM and his administration team on 9/13/2024 at 12:52 PM, but the matter remains unresolved. Dear Better Business Bureau and **** ******,

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address the complaint made against Epic Landscaping, Inc. concerning the alleged damage to a vehicle that occurred on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
We take all claims and feedback seriously and strive to resolve any concerns professionally and respectfully. Upon careful review of the details of the incident, I would like to outline our findings and actions:
Blowing Equipment: The mechanical blowers used by our team are designed specifically to remove debris like leaves and dust by blowing air. It is highly unlikely that the equipment could cause physical damage, such as scratches, to a vehicle's surface, especially of the type describeda large 8-inch scratch on the hood of the vehicle. Air alone does not possess the capacity to cause such scratches.
Other Vehicles Present: During the time of the incident, there were other vehicles parked in the same area near the complainants car. None of those vehicles reported any damage, reinforcing the point that the operation of our blowers does not inherently result in scratching or other types of damage to vehicles.
Request for Evidence: We have repeatedly asked the complainant to provide more concrete evidence clearly showing the connection between our equipment and the damage to the vehicle. To date, the only material provided is a photograph showing one of our workers blowing air near the complainant's vehicle, which was taken from a distance. However, this does not demonstrate how the blower caused the alleged scratches.
Contact with *************** As part of our investigation, we also reached out to the management company of the ************************************ (***), which would be the appropriate channel for resolving such a matter. They have informed us that no evidence has been submitted to support the claim that our crews actions caused the damage in question.
We have spoken with the team members present during the incident, and they confirmed that at no point was the vehicle touched or in direct contact with any equipment. We are fully willing to assume responsibility if the complainant can provide solid evidence linking our teams actions to the vehicle damage. However, as of now, no such proof has been provided.
We respectfully ask that, until verifiable evidence is presented, these allegations against our company be reconsidered.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
    Sincerely,
    **** *******

Thank you for your response to my concerns regarding the damage to my vehicle. However, I would like to clarify that the scratches on my car resulted from the rapid, swinging, and jerking motion of the machine that impacted my vehicle multiple times. While you mentioned that other nearby vehicles did not report damage, it is important to recognize that the quality and condition of each vehicle's paint can vary. The absence of damage reports from those vehicles does not negate the fact that my car was affected.
I appreciate your request for evidence and have made efforts to provide context for my claim, including photographs of one of your workers operating their machine over my vehicle leading to the scratches that I now have today. This clearly demonstrates the reason for the scratches, which were not present prior to this incident. I am currently awaiting the ******* police report, which I expect to receive in a few days, and I will share this with all relevant parties once it is available. Additionally, I plan to obtain an estimate for the damages and will forward that information to the board as well.
I seek accountability from **** in this matter, including a written apology and a commitment to repair the damage to my vehicles paint. I have also contacted the property manager, directors, and **** through phone and email to express my concerns.
I respectfully request that you reconsider your position on this matter. I am willing to cooperate and discuss potential resolutions.
Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

Thank you for reaching out and bringing your concerns to our attention. We take all customer feedback seriously and strive to ensure that any issues are resolved in a fair and timely manner.

After reviewing your claim regarding the damages to your roof tiles and wall from late 2022, we would like to reiterate that Epic Landscaping was not responsible for these damages. Our records show that our team follows strict procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of the properties we service, including careful documentation when performing any work. From the evidence and internal documentation we have, there is no indication that our team caused the damage youre referring to.

You mentioned that you have provided pictures. However, upon review, the images do not conclusively prove that our team caused this damage, and we strongly believe that the damage was likely caused by the previous company that conducted the tree trimming in your area prior to our involvement. Furthermore, we have communicated with you multiple times, directing you to your property manager to handle this matter, as it is part of the process that the ****************** has set forth.

We understand that this situation has caused frustration, and we are sorry for any inconvenience youve experienced. However, without clear proof that our team was responsible, we must respectfully decline your request for repairs. We encourage you to continue working with your property manager and the ******************, as they are best equipped to handle claims like these, especially given the timeframe and the involvement of other vendors in the past.

Please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Sincerely,
    **** *******

I am rejecting this response because: This matter has not been resolved and all of my roof tiles were replaced the previous year by BM Roofing. BM Roofing replaced all the roof tiles for the entire Sub 5 community. I had absolutely no broken tile until the following year when ****'s team conducted their tree trimming.

All I am seeking is a heartfelt apology in writing, the necessary repairs to my roof tiles, and a commitment from the company to exercise greater accountability and professionalism in their work.

    Sincerely,

I have reviewed our records in our community's database and confirmed that the Landscape Maintenance Agreement with Epic Landscaping, Inc. became effective on May 1, 2019, between Epic Landscaping, Inc. and Murano. The agreement was signed on May 24, 2019. Since then, no other landscaping company has been responsible for maintaining the community grounds. The damages in question occurred in 2022, indicating that your team has been the only vendor conducting tree trimming services consistently from 2019 to the present. Please accept responsibility and repair the damages done to my roof tiles. thank you

We appreciate every opportunity to serve our clients and address any concerns they may have. However, we have made numerous attempts to communicate in good faith regarding the issues you've raised, and we have thoroughly reviewed the details of your requests.
Upon careful examination, it has become evident that many of the damages you are referencing do not correlate with the services we have provided. While we strive to exceed expectations and resolve any matters within our scope, these particular issues fall outside of our responsibility.
We are aware that you've escalated similar concerns to the *** and various property managers over the years, and it appears that their assessments have not aligned with your expectations. We value our reputation and customer relationships deeply; however, we cannot assume responsibility for issues that we did not cause or contribute to.
    Thank you for your understanding.
