    Bought with EBT, MEAT WAS TOUGH AND TASTELESS. Having a lot of difficulty getting a refund, I am disabled and living in limited income. Told I have to wait 90 days for processing.

    Bought various boxes of steaks. Shown on receipt as 1AGL Beef on Feb 10th in **********, **.Boxes labels showing Prime Beef. NOT!We have tried the pepper fillets, reg. fillets,chopped steak and the strip steak. So not just one item. I have tried different ways to tenderize to no avail.I can honestly say this is the toughest, worst tasting beef I have is ever encountered in my 74 years.If there had been one bad piece I would not be writing this complaint. But this has been with each one we tried.There is no one at the tent and the truck has not moved in several days. Can not take back to gentleman I purchased for from. I would not feed these to my dog (if we had one).Please do the right thing and refund our money. I will send it all back to you.*************************

    We have responded to the complainant directly to assist them in finding the retailer who assisted in their sale. We are a distributor and therefor did not directly assist this customer in any way. We do not believe this complaint is applicable to us as we have no way to definitively know how they ended up in possession of a box with our name on it, what the contents were, etc. Also, being that we did not sell this product to the complainant we have no ability to locate or refund any charges. However, as a business dedicated to quality product and service we will do all we can to find the retailer they claim to have purchased this product from.

    I will give the information to *************************.  I will send copies of the charge receipts.  But I want this complaint to remain open since the quality of the beef is horrible.  That would definitely be their issue. As this would not be the fault of the retailer.

    I have been working with ******* to resolve this issue.

    She has refunded the purchase price of the meat.  The charges have been credited to my card.  I sent her documentation on the meat so she could trace who provided the meat to them for resale.

    Purchased Steaks on Nov 17, 2023, from Vendor for American Gold Label Southwest ***** - Steaks are "FREEZER BURNT" and uneatable. Called Company at: ************ on Nov 20 (First attempt to eat any of the meats) spoke with **** in sales, he gave me the local rep. (Will/ ************) name and number, called and left voice messages (approx. 3-4) and texted on Nov 20, 21 and 27 - no reply. I was asking for replacement of products but since I cannot speak with anyone, I think a refund is appropriate. / Attaching proof of calls and text messages in an attempt to rectify the issue, unable to speak with anyone.

    Hello BBB, we are a wholesaler and do not typically work with the customers directly. This was a rare instance where we assisted our sales rep with a sale. After we got the customer back in touch with the sales rep we removed ourselves from the conversation as it was now resolved. You can see the attached screenshot of the payment sent to this customer showing that she was indeed refunded. The situation was resolved.
