    Initially, we were so impressed with *****. Personable, reasonably priced, seemed genuine. Now, were left wondering if he taken our deposit and run ??Our patio paver work was to begin June 1st. The day came and went without any communication. When ***** did finally return our emails/calls, we were told the pavers were on order. He was waiting for them to come in. June 19th was the day they would know about the pavers. His wife finally called and shared the a/c in their building died. Theyve been working from home!! Still waiting! .. now 20 days later, our calls and emails are not being answered. Were worried they have taken our deposit and run. Worse, we referred a friend who signed a contract & also gave them an even bigger deposit.Would like our full deposit back.

    The business (Preferred Pavers) has reached out to us and has agreed to begin work on 07/24/23.

    He offered apologies for his non-communication with an explanation that we are willing to accept.

     

    We are satisfied at this time and would like to close this case.

    This is the last email I sent to the company on Saturday, May 20th with still no reply from the company. "**********************, I have tried over the last 2+ months to contact you to arrange for warranty repair work (fireplace repairs and re-sanding in certain areas) but no one has responded to any of my emails or voice mails that I have left/sent. As a professional like you, your response would be greatly appreciated."As the company has ignored all my attempts since March to have them come out for warranty work, I am seeking a refund for the total cost of the fire pit of $2700. I will need to hire another paver contractor to come and fix/replace the fire pit.
