I was surprised to find similar stories from other victims here. I was scammed by this company. In Jan. 2023 my computer was frozen, a phone number popped up for me to call, I called, they(quick help24*7) pretended to fix the issue and charged me USD499, I sent a cheque to them payable to Devine Mart. I got calls from them again and again since last August telling me to pay again US$4000 a year and the plan(or subscription, whatever they called it) will be auto renewal for a lifetime, or US$1100 to cancel it. This time I realized this is a scam and report to police, and here I am, writing this to fight this horrible scam.

Like others I was stupidly scammed by this company. In February my computer was frozen with blinking parts and one phone number to call. Stupidly I called it rather than talk the computer to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store and allowed this company which went by the name of quickhelp24 access to my computer to install an application to allegedly fix it. I stupidly paid them $399 for that service which they insisted in bill pay from my checking account. This past weekend I got a call from someone purporting to be an owner manager that I was going to be charged $4700 auto renewal for lifetime service -- four times the cost of a new computer -- or $1500 to cancel it. Again he insisted on control of my computer to remove the security software which actually never happened. He threatened me and made me swear to God I would send a check. Again stupidly I did, only after focusing on the fact that I never signed anything asking for any service, that companies have phone numbers that are answered or go to a real messaging app, and checked out the BBB website to confirm they were a scam. I put a stop on the check and changed all my accounts because I didn't know what they accessed when they got control of my computer.

Please do not contact Devine Mart or ***************. They say they are part of ********** and they are NOT! They have threatened me with 11 phone calls in the last 24 hours. I am a senior with a fixed income, and they wanted me to pay them ****** to fix the problem. Now they said they are going to turn me in to the credit bureaus. Please, please do NOT work with these people!

I wish I could have given negative stars! I have paid money three times ($2500-$2900) to cancel all services only to be told I have to pay another cancellation fee as I have been hacked. I believe the hacking is coming from Devine Mart itself as I keep being told that if I don't pay (yet again!) to cancel services because the cancellation I paid for will not work & I'll be charged over $48,000 to start all over!

I turned my computer on this morning and it said my computer had trojan spyware on it. And told me to call the number on screen from Apple support so I did. They said they had to get on my computer to check it out and that they fixed it. They also installed 3 years of Firewall Security. It told me not to shut down my computer until finished and that they would call me back to hand my computer back over to me. I tried to click off but it wouldn't let me. So now they want $599.99 sent to them @ P.O. Box *****-************* North, Suite *****. **************, ******* *****. So when finished I went to Apple store so they could clean my computer out again. They emailed me again to tell me where to send payment and I emailed them back that it was a scam. then they called me back and said if it was a scam they would have asked me for Debit card or account number. I told them I don't trust it and I don't want it and I wasn't sending any payment.

A few weeks ago I got an "urgent" message that my computer was being attacked by a virus. I bit and called the number suggested - bad decision. I (stupidly) followed through and wound up paying $1284 for the "fix." I am a senior citizen trying to live on a fixed income and this charge was WAY more than I could afford. Warning: If you get an "urgent" message that your computer is about to be shut down, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER LISTED IN THE MESSAGE- IT'S A SCAM. I'm out more than $1200 that I cannot afford, but have no recourse to recover even a portion of what I lost.

**** One morning i heard my computer start sounding like a fire alarm and loud noises starting coming out stating your apple computer has ben compromised ,you have hardware problems ,we can fix this please call us.I unfortunately called them. The person i spoke to said they work for apple(which i found out later, they did not) and they can fix the problem immediately. So i was gullible enough to let them on my computer and start working on it. After they did whatever they did(which i don't know what they did if anything) they assured me Apple will call me up in 10 minutes and ask me how the service went. Well i waited and Apple never called. I immediately stopped payment on the $299.99 check . I also went down to a apple store and immediately had the apple employees wipe my computer clean. These guys are scam artists. They even have the gall to call me up after ,which i hung up the phone on them. Lastly they e mailed me threatening me to make payment or else they will bring the case to court. Unbelievable stay away from these con artists.

They locked up my computer and told me I had to pay to get it unlocked. It frighten me so much. I have so much information of my tax clients on my computer so I went along with it and they kept me on the phone for about two hours telling me afterwards, I had to pay to get it unlocked, they took a photo of my check. After they supposedly get unlock my computer and added their programs, my computer went back to normal use. I deleted their programs and discarded them and put a stop payment on my check now they are after me for the money for the scam. they did now I know better they say they are from ********* but they are not when you call.

BEWARE!!! These guys are scammers. Do not give them access to your computer, do not call the 800 number listed. When I called the 800 number they answered the phone "support". I asked "support for who? They replied "support for ********* and *****". They will unlock your computer and then demand money. The more I thought about it, I thought something was fishy. To make a long story short I contacted *********. First of all, ********* does not contract with any 3rd party techs and they never lock up or freeze your computer. The ********* tech ran a scan on my computer (for free) and advised me to contact my bank immediately... which I did. Save yourself grief and money ,,, avoid these guys like the plague!!!!
