I had been going to Stuart Cardiology for several years due to coronary artery disease. On my last visit I was told that I needed an Angiogram based on poor results from my stress test results. I had received phone calls, not only confirming my insurance, but going over my meds, and preparation for my Angiogram due to my blockage over 2-3 days prior to the date of my procedure. These calls interrupted me each time, but it was for something important so I put up with it. You would think it could have been done in 1 phone call. The morning of my procedure I was nervous and didn't sleep well the night before. As I was about to step out of the house to go to the hospital, I received a phone call stating that Dr. ******** had an emergency and needed to reschedule my 1 week out. I understand there are emergencies that come up, but they have a group of over 10 Cardiologists working there, are you telling me he is the only one who can do this procedure. The reason I choose a group is in case of this type of situation, so there is a back up in the office that can pitch in when they are needed. But, No it is all about money. The doctor made me wait even though they knew I had a blockage that could kill me at any moment. You see, this procedure is worth anywhere from $30,000-$50000 and he wanted that job for himself. It's not about the patient. Well, I fired their entire practice, I may sue as well and don't recommend anyone going there for this exact reason. You are better off using Cleveland Clinic. They are not the only game in town!
