This company was contracted by *** to install an above ground electrical box on an easement provided to them in my front yard. In the process they damaged my front yard fence (specifically by backing their truck into it when they parked in the ditch.) I have a text from an *** employee that a Bowman representative had promised to have it fixed by OCTOBER OF LAST year. I have sent text after text and email after email over the last several months. The emails provided to me from FPL specifically are "khudson", "rchristman", and "dbrown" @**************************. They will not respond to my emails, though I have received a few texts and a phone call, always promising and never delivering. The fence needs fixed. *** provided me the phone number for **** ***** but he does not call me back or apparently respond to his voicemails. This fence, in its current state is a hazard to the neighborhood with a hurricane season approaching and is a eyesore to this nice neighborhood. the address is **************************. My cell is ************. I emailed all 3 emails, (and texted them) that i will be filing in small claims court of this is not resolved by next month. This is primarily just to break through the current supervisor "ceiling", but I think this BBB report might do the trick as well, so I'm giving this a shot first.

Bowman Consulting Group **** denies the allegations in the complaint and denies that it is responsible for the claimed damage to Mr. ****** fence.  Further, Bowman Consulting Group, **** is a professional services firm and we do not install or construct electrical boxes.  It is possible Mr. **** was provided our information in error.

I am rejecting this response because:

No one provided me Bowman's information to contact regarding fence damage. I have been in contact with no one else. I provided the email addresses already for the people I have been in contact with and last summer they were saying that they would fix it. I followed up in January after they let months and months go by with promises and no delivery, and then they opened a claim with **** without telling me. They also did not tell **** the age of the fence or even when it was damaged and so **** denied their half-done claim. Basically, after promising me for months they would fix it, they decide to shrug me off to Pike and file a claim on my behalf without authorization from me. This was also a fraudelent claim because they gave the wrong details. A bowman truck backed into the fence when turning around in my culvert. If they want to now try and put the responsibility on **** after dragging me along for months, they need to at least give Pike the proper details. It is telling that they did filed this claim with **** without my consent or knowledge after promising me they would fix it for months.

      Sincerely,

      ******** ****

Bowman Consulting Group **** denies the allegations in the complaint and now in the rebuttal and continues to dispute that it is responsible for the claimed damages to Mr. ****** fence. As stated initially, Bowman is a professional services firm.  Bowman does not have trucks in this area, does not install above ground electrical boxes, and is not on-site for any installation process. Mr. **** has been advised that PIKE installs above ground electrical boxes for FPL.  If a truck hit Mr. ****** fence while in the process of installing the electrical box, Mr. ****** issues should be addressed by ***********

Mr. **** was given Bowman's information in error.  In the Rebuttal, Mr. **** states: "No one provided me Bowman's information to contract regarding fence damage".  However, the original complaints notes. :"I have a text from an FPL employee that a Bowman representative..." and that FPL provided him with certain Bowman e-mail addresses. See Complaint.  Please see attached text exchange where Mr. **** also states: "FPL sends me to you" and "FPL gave me yours". See text change with Mr. *********** Clearly, Mr. **** was given Bowman contact information by *** and unfortunately it was incorrect information.

Finally, Bowman disputes that it filed a claim with **** on Mr. ****** behalf. Bowman did provide Mr. **** with information on how to contact ***** including name and direct contact information for the PIKE job-site supervisor, to coordinate next steps. Bowman did advise PIKE that Mr. **** was seeking to contact them, however, no claim was filed. See text change with Mr. ***** attached hereto.

Thank you for your kind attention hereto.
