    I contracted with Garage Gem mid- March for an $11000 garage system. They asked for a deposit of $5500 to order the cabinets etc.. and they completely disappeared on me. They cashed the checks and will not return my calls or text messages.

    On January 30 2024 we gave ***********************, owner of Garage Gem, $4300 as a down payment for work he was to do in our garage. He was to put a floor down and install custom cabinets in our garage. We went to his place of business and picked out the floor. Work was to begin in April when the cabinets came in. On the start date, April 15, he did not show up and repeated phone calls to him have gone unanswered. He took our money and did no work!4;3

    I signed a contract totaling just over $7,000 to have a new coating put on my mom's garage floor as well as install storage cabinets & shelving. It required a 50% deposit to be paid up front, so $3,500 was charged to my credit card on Nov 27, 2023. I was initially told the cabinets would arrive around January 2024 but as January came & went I kept checking in & was told there was a delay. After repeated attempts to get a status update, it wasnt until March 14 that ***** finally answered one of my phone calls & told me my cabinets had arrived so we made verbal arrangements to have a storage pod delivered on Fri, April 12 so we could clear out the garage and have work begin on Mon, April 15.Between Apr 3-11 I made several attempts by calling, texting & emailing to confirm that our planned dates were still on track to move ahead but heard nothing. No one showed up at our house with the storage pod on Friday, April 12 so we physically went to their office to try to speak to someone, but no one was there. We have basically been ghosted and would therefore like a refund so we can find an alternative company to do the work.

    The company has failed to install the Gorgeous Garage cabinets and Monkey Bar shelving ordered on November 1, 2023. On March 8, 2024 *********************** promised to install on March 27. This was a delay from the original schedule of February 12. At 7:41 AM on February 12, *************** called stating the wrong material had been shipped to him and would need to be reordered. Since March 8, there has been no communication from the company and the installation did not occur. *************** has not responded to repeated phone calls, emails, voicemails, and texts left on his phone and business lines. And finally the limited work the company did perform installing two overhead racks was a lower quality product from Fleximount instead of the high quality Monkey Bar products specified on the order. The rack substitution was made without prior discussion or approval by me.At this point, I seek a full refund of the deposit made on November 1, 2023 and cancellation of the order
