    I hired Alfredo Torres Interlocking Pavers Repair, Licensed and Insured CGC *******, in May, 2023 to remove and replace pavers on my back patio and to install a small area of new pavers that were similar to the present pavers. After the first day of work, I noticed that my landscape lights were no longer working. Mr ********************** had added pavers around a landscape light. I told him that I would be calling an electrician to repair same. His job entailed removing roots from trees that were growing under the pavers.The workmen came back to pressure wash and seal all of the pavers including my garage pavers.I have two estimate invoices dated May 2, 2023 for $2600.00 which was paid in cash at Mr. **********************' request and a second invoice dated May 23, 2023 in the amount of $2200.00 which was also paid in cash. I have not received paid invoices for the work done. The work appears adequate although the added pavers are not the same size as the original pavers.The electricians charged me $1183.00 as they had to cut through cement and repair two electrical lines underground. After many unreturned calls and then a text, Mr. ********************** was told about the cost of the electrical repair and claimed it was too much and that he would not pay it. He stated that he did not have insurance when I asked him to submit a claim. Both his truck and business card state that he is licensed and insured. I suggested that he pay half, under the circumstance and he continued to refuse. After my last call with him on June 6th, he stated that he was in ****** as his dad was sick. I texted him on June 21, 2023 and have still not heard from him to settle this claim. He appears to. have a second e mail address - *********************** ****************************************** I would like compensation for the electrical work done. Mr ********************** felt that he should have been allowed to fix the problem. He is not a certified electrician. Thank you for your time and consideration and assistance.KC
