I have paid for an annual maintenance agreement with arnolds ac. They do not provide the agreement in advance. I was only asked to sign for the payment. The maintenance mentioned on their website does not align to the invoice. In addition to the misleading advertisements there is not complete pictures of all service calls.A maintenance was done in January 2024 and there are no pictures available and the owner refuses to provide them.I believe the technician let out too much refrigerant from my unit. I also believe he tore the vents in my unit because he said he adjusted the indoor unit. He did this without notifying me or my permission. I have no idea what kind of damage he has done. I asked for pictures for proof but they refused to provide them .****** has denied any negligence or mistakes were made and has been extremely dismissive about resolving this issue.

    Complaint: 21775833

I am rejecting this response because:

**** lied in the response. He claims his tech only serviced my mini split but why was I charged for refrigerant replacement and the readings showed my refrigerant levels were incorrect.

I want to see proof of the work done and the condition of the duct attached to the vent on the indoor units from the January service.

I also want to see the refrigerant / cooling levels recorded at that time.

I also would like to see proof of the **** licensing of the tech sent in January that he was certified and not an unsupervised apprentice.

If the business is unable to provide proof they did not damage my unit during January 2024 service then they will need to pay for the repair through a reputable third party company.

    Sincerely,

    ******************

Regarding Ms. ******* case, here is a summary of the events:

Ms. ***** became our client on July 12, 2023, when she engaged us to perform maintenance on her main air-conditioning system and subsequently on her mini-split system. She opted for our ************************ which provides benefits including maintenance visits and discounts on repairs.

Under her membership, we conducted scheduled maintenance visits on July 12, 2023, and January 25, 2024, both of which were completed satisfactorily. Ms. ***** renewed her membership on May 15, 2024, and during the same visit, we serviced her main system.

On May 23, 2024, Ms. ***** reported issues with her systems and prompting us to diagnose and repair her mini-split, addressing a malfunctioning sensor. We also identified a refrigerant deficiency in her main system and recommended further diagnostics for leaks, which Ms. ***** declined at that time.

After discussing options with Ms. ****** she authorized us to proceed with adding refrigerant as a temporary solution, which she signed off on after being informed of the associated costs. Despite additional recommendations, Ms. ***** opted not to pursue further repairs.

Following the service, ******* our Vice President and ****************** Manager, spoke with Ms. ***** on May 29, 2024, explaining the charges and services rendered. Customer Answer

    Date: 08/18/2024

The business has not provided any images or documents that I requested, all information provided is a lie or related to other service dates.

I called to complete my 6 months service on January 25,2024

I have attached the invoice from this date. As you can see from the invoice, there are no images attached, there are no pictures of the A/C refrigerant pressure, and no pictures of the work that is done.

Within 3 months I called back and explained I was having issues. I did not call to renew, I called specifically because I was having issues, my unit was not running correctly after the last maintenance.

I called on 4/20/2024 to report that My AC unit was not working properly after the last maintenance and that something is not right. I also asked about maintenance renewal. I have attached the call log as proof.

At no point did I say I was happy with the service, since 4/20/2024 I have been requesting images of the work that was done in January, I requested additional maintenance because it was needed. Why would a customer who just had a maintenance done call and need a second maintenance 3 months later when normal schedule is every 6 months? Clearly there was issues and it hasn't been addressed.

There has been no proof submitted with a time stamp from the work done on 1/25/2024, there has been no proof submitted of the pressure, the refrigerant levels, the condition of my unit in the attic.

There has been no proof submitted verifying the contractors license and apprenticeship status from 1/25/2024.

**** has never contacted me once to resolve any of this, despite me having asked repeatedly to speak with him.

Additionally if they recorded my phone calls, that is illegal and I will be following up because there was no warning or announcement that my phone calls were being recorded.

I would like an answer as to how you could possibly determine the business made a good faith to resolve this when they did no such thing?
