My elderly father is in the hospital with cancer. His *** sent him a Final Notice regarding weeds in planting beds around palm trees. I live thousands of miles away in another state. I was told from my Dads lawn care company that Fernview Farm is a good business to hire to pull these weeds. By the way, the weeds are dead because they had been previously sprayed. They just needed to be pulled. I spoke with ***** on 10/31/24. I told her that I needed the weeds pulled to pass the *** inspection. We agreed on 2 hours of weed pulling with a crew of several people. She told me it would cost $120/hour. The work would be done on 11/1/24. On 11/1/24, I was notified by neighbors that the weeds had not been pulled. *********, co-owner of Fernview Farm called me on 11/1/24. She said that her employee pulled weeds for 16 minutes & sprayed weed killer. The weeds were already dead! I hired Fernview Farm to pull weeds to pass the *** inspection. ***** left me a message on 11/2/24. She said, . . . the work we have done so far, its only about 15 minutes of pulling which is next to nothing. . . She requested that I contact her on Monday 11/4/24. I texted her on Sunday 11/3/24 and told her we dont need her company. On, 11/4/24, I received an email invoice from Fernview Farm with a balance due of $82.40. Invoice # ******. Due date: 11/16/24. Weed control in landscape beds $50.00. Weed out-clean up 16 minutes $32.40. I would like Fernview Farm to waive these charges. They didnt perform services agreed upon. I never agreed for the weeds to be sprayed! I just wanted them pulled to pass the *** inspection!! Thank you.

We have no current active account or charges for ******* ******.   We wrote off the charges as I discussed with her myself on the phone when we talked about how we would not be continuing services.  The neighbor was being verbally abusive to our employee in person, attempting to physically intimidate us while at the customers house, and was abusive via phone calls and texts to the office.  I am attaching some of the screenshots of texts from the neighbor who was never authorized to contact us about this account. The tech did not hand pull for 2 hours as initially discussed due to two reasons: He stopped at 16 minutes due to being harassed by the neighbor while trying to work, and also ******* ****** not fully knowing the condition of her father's house since she lives thousands of miles away... which we immediately contacted her after the service to explain this on 11/1/24 and to provide additional options and potential companies who were better suited for what she needed.  She asked for some time to talk to the neighbor when I told her we would not be continuing services with them but then sent a text on 11/3 (When we were closed on Sunday) cancelling the services herself. She never contacted us about the original automated invoice, and we have not contacted her about any overdue balances.

******* ****** has not paid us any money and we have not and do not plan to contact her to collect any payments.  There are no active invoices and no balances due.

Thank you for contacting us and allowing us to respond to this concern.
