This company took my personal information over the phone to sum not a VA ******** saving program application on my behalf on May 2nd and said they would email me securely with the application to sign and I have not received it after several weeks. I want to speak to a supervisor to provide instructions for encryption bc they are asking for personal documents with my social and license, the person I spoke did not have instructions. I called today at 10:55 am Est and **** the person who answered disconnected my call and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. I want a supervisor to provide what I need to sign so I can send it back since their customer service does not know how to transfer and this is a simple request to finish the application and sign it bc I need the assistance but this third party used is poor customer service. You should be able to find the call that they just hung up on me and kept saying no no I cant do that. My request is simple.Business Response

May 13, 2025 I got a call from BeneLynk with the address Aetna **********************************************. They asked for ***, DOB, full *************** information, etc. I smelled a rat. I was told benelynk has been in business for 20 years. They wanted to make sure I did not lose ******** benefits. I believe this company has attached themselves to ********, insurance companies, and federal funds to act as a social partner. Seniors seriously have concerns about government spending and benelynk doesnt belong on that list of payees. They asked if I wanted my phone number removed from their list and of course I spoke up stating I already have too many scam likely friends. Take me off their Robo calling. Grrrrr BeneLynk youre stealing government money!Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
At BeneLynk, our mission is to assist individuals in maintaining their ******** and other health-related benefits, working in direct partnership with leading health insurance plans, including *****. We are not a government agency but are contracted by health plans to support their members in navigating complex state and federal assistance programsat no cost to the individuals we serve.
We understand and appreciate the importance of privacy and security, especially when it comes to sensitive personal information. To clarify, BeneLynk does not request Social Security Numbers (SSNs) unless required by the specific state program in which we are assisting a member. Some state ******** applications require an SSN to verify eligibility, and in those cases, we follow strict compliance and data protection protocols.
Our outreach is designed to help ensure that members are aware of renewal deadlines and requirements to avoid lapses in vital health coverage. We do not engage in robocalling. All outreach efforts are conducted by live agents, comply with applicable communication laws, and are performed with transparency and respect for member preferences. If any member wishes to opt out of future outreach, we honor that request promptly and permanently.
We understand that skepticism is naturalparticularly in a world where scams are unfortunately common. To help verify the legitimacy of our services, members can visit ****** official website at ***********************************************************, which includes information about BeneLynks role as a trusted partner.
We regret any confusion or concern our outreach may have caused. Transparency, trust, and member service are at the heart of what we do. If the complainant would like to further discuss their concerns or confirm the legitimacy of our services, we invite them to contact our Member Advocacy team at ************ or visit ******************************.

I received a phone call from what turned out to be, BeneLynk, on March 21, 2025, at 5:54 PM. I didn't answer the call though because I didn't recognize the number. Later on, I listened to the voicemail that was left by Benelynk and it was regarding Aetna and important benefit information. I actually had to laugh because I haven't been with Aetna since 2022. The following day, March 22, 2025, I checked my postal mail and there was even more c*** from BeneLynk, related to Aetna! I emailed Benelynk's ********************* because I couldn't find any other email address for them. I told them I hadn't been with Aetna since ************************************************************************************************************ anymore. I'll also threatened to forward all of this information to ******** and the *** but even that hasn't worked! I was on a phone call this morning, May 2, 2025 and immediately after I hung up, I saw there was a missed call from Benelynk, at 10:50 AM. What does Benelynk not understand? I get enough junk mail and phone calls from companies I'm currently doing business with. I don't need any other, unwanted communications.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the continued outreach regarding a health plan you are no longer affiliated with.Upon investigation, it appears this situation resulted from a combination of technical oversight and human error.
While our systems are designed to routinely update member data and remove individuals no longer eligible for outreach, in this instance, your record was not properly suppressed from contact due to an error in the data refresh and handoff of information between Aetna and BeneLynk. We understand how this experience may have been both confusing and frustrating, and we truly regret the impact it had on you.
Please know that BeneLynk partners directly with health plans, including *****, to assist members with understanding and maintaining important healthcare benefits. Our outreach is conducted only on behalf of our health plan clients, and all communications are reviewed and approved by those plans.
Most importantly, we take all requests to stop communication and remove information seriously. Your original request was received, and we regret that additional contact occurred afterward. We are actively working with our internal teams to identify how your record was missed during suppression and to ensure that your information is fully removed from all future campaigns. Additionally, we are reinforcing procedures to prevent similar occurrences.
We appreciate your patience and assure you that your contact information is now marked for permanent removal. If you receive any additional communications, please dont hesitate to contact us directly at ************************************* or ************ so we can address it immediately.
