Avoid this company at all cost. They fail to communicate a properly. They caused damages during restoration and denied the damage but refused to provide the customer with the before and after pictures they took.Citing we would have to go through insurance. And of course we could not reach the person we reported the damages to. Unfortunately our insurance sent this company out after a hurricane. Then they serve us legal paperwork as we are trying to get the proof of their damage. I feel so taken advantage of. Just wish their were honest companies out their that didn’t try to **** people.

It appears that the homeowner does not fully understand the insurance industry and how they assign and approve work during catastrophic events such as a hurricane.   Our company has been vetted by the insurance company for several years.  We must pass annual background checks along with updated licensing and insurance documents every year to remain a preferred vendor for the any insurance carrier.   We do not decide the price of our services.  The insurance company requires we use special software that they control the pricing of.  All estimates are approved by the adjuster for the insurance company before any monies are released to the homeowner.  Attached you will find the detailed documentation with photos for the work that was performed all signed and approved by the homeowner, including 2 Certificate of Satisfactions.  (see attached).  The homeowner delayed payment to us after he received the funds from the carrier.  This delay resulted in us exercising our rights provided under the signed contract and applicable laws. Our legal actions have resulted in all invoices fully paid as of 1/3/25 and will release our lien on the property.  We direct the homeowner to contact their carrier with any questions or concerns that may have.

********************* . They have 6 forms they want you to fill out including a blank page with no cost for emergency services. They also want you to sign forms stating they get your insurance deductible and want your home mortgage information to work with your mortgage directly.

BEWARE OF CINERGY BUILDERS, INC. - They are unkind and not reliable at all. In December 2022, wanting to have rotten wood replaced in our roof, we called our insurance company only to find out that we were not covered for a “pre-existing condition” and not knowing who to call, our insurance company sent CINERGY Builders of Sunrise. An employee showed up and proceeded to put a tarp on part of the roof and held it with sandbags. Their employee didn’t even bother to come inside the house to see if there was a leak. There was and there is no leak inside the house. We learned later that they considered their job an “Emergency Job”. Is having rotten wood in the overhang of the roof considered to be an emergency job? After awhile, wondering why no one was coming back to remove the tarp, we called CINERGY to ask them to remove it. Their answer was: “We don’t do that. Why don’t you have your neighbors help you bring it down? And by the way, you owe us $3800.00.” Months went by. When the tarp desintegrated, we noticed that the rotten wood had not been replaced. They had covered it up with the tarp and they wanted us to pay for a tarp. All we wanted was the rotten wood to be replaced. Now, CINERGY is suing us and they put a lien on the house. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A ROOFER SHOW UP, PLACE A TARP ON THE ROOF, AND NOT REPLACE THE ROTTEN WOOD which was the reason we wanted a roofer in the first place. Apparently, CINERGY BUILDERS is not in the roofing business - so why did our insurance company send them? The sandbags have been on the roof since December 2022. We fear that, in case of a hurricane, those bags will cause property damage to our neighbors house and/or their cars and this could lead to our being sued, again! The rotten wood is still rotten.

A few days After hurricane ******** was approached by a representative from Cinergy about mitigating our property. I asked the representative to give me a bid or projection of estimated cost and the representative gave me a cost of $25,000. Their actual final invoice was at $68,000 and then reduced to $55,000 after I verbally voiced concern about the initial invoice. It very much appears to me that they were taking advantage of us during a time of acute and severe need.
