  I’m writing in response to the below complaint regarding Red Hills Landworks, LLC.  We provided road repair services and aggregate materials to ***** ******* in April of 2024.  The road we repaired is not a paved road and does not have drainage ditches to handle run off and/or drain water adequately when it rains.  This was explained to *** ******* when the estimate was provided and again when the work was completed.  Aggregate, rock, and/or dirt driveways require regular maintenance to fill pot holes and maintain a smooth driving surface.  This unfortunately increases with high vehicle traffic as is the case with this road as multiple dwellings use it.  The point I'm trying to make here is grading a dirt road and adding rock or base is not a permanent one time solution and will require periodic maintenance.  This is unfortunately multiplied without adequate drainage as water causes erosion. 

  We agreed and are still offering to regrade the road free of charge to *** *******.  I'm not sure of the exact date but we initially agreed verbally to do this on, or around October of 2024.  We have multiple ongoing projects throughout the state and are not always in the Tallahassee area. 

  I will be in the Tallahassee area at a location near his address within the next two weeks and can regrade the road as we discussed.  However,  we can not be expected to come back again for free after another storm comes through the area and causes additional damage.  Is this agreeable?
