I had made a appointment for a routine contact exam. I have had many exams before and was only charged my copay which is *****. When I when to check out I was told my **** was ******. I asked why so much there must be a mistake and receptionist told me I was being charged a well exam and a eye glass exam ( which normally comes with a contact exam anyway) and ****** for a contact exam and when I asked if I could speak to the doctor I was told no it wont do any good he will change anything. So after refusing to pay that amount I was threatened with the ************ being called and she told me this is not ******* or ******* She then agreed that I could speak to the Doctor after I paid which I did than was told I couldnt. I feel this office is very rude and unprofessional. And feel like they are taking advantage of people by having them sign a paper which states they will decide how to **** or charge you without notifying you that it will cost you a lot more. Never had such a unpleasant experience as I had that day.

As you stated. We make sure every patient knows that their vision plan does NOT cover medical conditions and we have you read how the billing works and sign it. Right then is the time to ask about your medical insurance coverage, not after the exam. You had several medical conditions. All were discussed during your exam. ********************* are often NOT covered by vision plans. Your policy, not ours. All of this was discussed with you, but you kept demanding to speak with the doctor. His services could not be undone. We do recommend places like ******* and ****** where the doctor is not allowed to advise on medical conditions and only sells glasses and contacts.
