On May 19th 2024, I engaged very well respected and highly commendable RV inspector ***** *******. The unit was located in Alabama and I needed someone I could trust to look over the unit since I was not there. He was VERY thorough and prepared a very lengthy and detailed report. I definitely got my moneys worth and then some! I would still recommend him to anyone who asks. My issue is that when he did the inspection, he indicated the leveling jacks had been extended AND retracted. It was a clear YES on that question. When my delivery driver got there to bring the unit up to me in Minnesota, the jacks didn’t work. They tried for 3 hours to get them to work. They tried to find an RV tech to fix it. In the end, ***** advised that they reverse polarity to get the jacks up. While that solved the issue of getting the jacks up, it did not address the issue of the jacks not working as the inspection report indicated that they did. Furthermore, at NO point, was I contacted about the jacks not working. I would not have accepted the unit until they did had I known. I now sit here with an RV that requires an RV tech to fix the problem and I am not getting any assistance whatsoever from the inspector NOR Pop Sales. I have emailed numerous times with no resolution at all. ***** indicates he stands by his report and I would agree.. for everything except the Jacks not retracting or extended. The sellers indicated that at no point did ***** test those during his inspection, yet the report says they were extended and retracted. For any RV, this is a major component. I am praying it will not be costly.
