Riverside recovery is clearly a ponzi scheme that lurks on people whom come to them for help. I should've read the real reviews more carefully, and paid more attention to the real reviews. I choose the 7 day detox. The food was okay, but that is the most they have to offer. They hire the most unlicensed, inexperienced staff, that they let them train on you. They push drugs down your throat 4 or more times A day , without describing what it is, nor the side affects or with no explanation as to why. My recent experience, the took our phones, keys and personal belongings, then also made us take sleeping pills to sleep through the night. To of much my surprise, I woke up shorty after with what looked like a syringe being pointed near my inner arm. I freaked out. When asked what was going on, I was told to calm down. When I wouldnt calm down they said they were going to call the police. I then got excited, knowing that the authorities have the right to view the security cameras to validate my claims. Once I headed to the front which was 3 minutes later, they then advised me that they called the ambulance instead because I was hysterical. That made absolutely no sense to me, so you mean to tell me you called the police but changed your mind and called ambulance instead and they're now here in less than 5 minutes something did not sound right I knew something here was fishy. I kindly told the ambulance that I will be going to the hospital so they can conduct not only a **** kit, but to also check my blood and urine to determine specifically what drugs they had me taken without my consent nor knowledge. This literally felt like a me to movement, I'm pretty sure there are way more victims. As I myself have been doing my research and reaching out to them specifically so voice their concerns and to let their voices be heard no one should have to go through this there are too many scam doctors to count and we must be prepared I have already contacted my bank

On July 9th, 2022, I was transferred from the detox hall of Riverside Recovery of Tampa to the Residents' hall. I had been prescribed a Z-pack before all the following occurred to prevent pneumonia when the ARNP said I had upper respiratory congestion. In two days time, I was feeling like a cold was coming on. I mentioned this to the nurses. Over the next two days, I worsened and developed a productive cough. I mentioned this to the nurses every time I went for my medications, twice a day. One of them said, "Yeah, there's something going around." I started wearing a mask to protect others from my microbes. I suggested that the medical team should do something about this. On day 5 or so, I saw the ARNP. I told her about being sick. She suggested Tessalon Perles but when I asked the med nurses about it, it was not ordered. She ordered prednisone for upper airway wheezing at 20mg which was not titrated off before I left the facility. Over the next 3 days, my cold moved to my sinuses and eventually to my ears. I was telling the nurse twice daily how I was doing, i.e, secretions were thick and green, sinuses were affected. They gave me vitamin C gummies. I mentioned to my husband that I was not getting the medical attention I needed. My husband tried calling my therapist but couldn't get in touch so he wrote to my therapist (who also knew of my cold and eventually became ill himself) and told him of my plight. I was called into to the ARNPs office and she said, "I hear you're not feeling well." I could not believe my ears! After 9 days of steadily getting worse and telling the nursing staff about it....after 9 days of visibly wearing a mask and isolating myself to not infect others....after having told her 4 days ago that I was sick and nothing being done about it, there is no way I'm going to trust the medical staff at this facility. I was glad to leave so I could see a physician. I call this neglect. I also noted that only one of the nurses identified me with the proper i
