    It's equal blame for both Lowes and Protec. Going on 4 months now of waiting for my doors to be installed. Doors were lost the first month which is The manufacturers fault but since then it's all Lowes and ProTec. They finally found the doors and after another month they got delivered to my house and ready for install. Protec took 2 weeks to come out and say they were built to the wrong measurements and had to be sent back and rebuilt. Now now over another month they get rebuilt/delivered to my house. A week later which is today I'm scheduled for the install again FINALLY! NOPE, the installer from protec calls out and they tell me they don't have anything for another week? So wete going for 5 months now eh? I wish someone from Lowes or protec actually try to get this job done and take care of a customer that should be at the front to be expedited. Protec is the install face for lowes... horrible all around. I'm at 80 calls to Lowes, Lowes install, and Protec in these 4/5 months.

    I have not had any phone calls from you regarding your appointment since your installer has been dilligent in making sure he kept in touch with you.  I sincerely apologize that the installer became ill with the flu.  He is doing a little bit better and I am glad to let you know he will be happy to get your door installed on Tuesday if you would still like for him to do so.  As far as the manufacturer losing your door, ***** losing your door, and the manufacturer making your door the incorrect measurments I am so sorry for all of that as well. We unfortunately do not place product orders, and the products are shipped directly to Lowes stores.  We do the measurements for the product and we install the product only. I wish there was something I could do to help you with all of the back and forth you have had with Lowes and the manufacturer who you purchased the door from.  I am sure if you inform ***** of all of this they will assist you in some way.  We unfortunately do not have installers on stand by here at our office that are not pre scheduled to be somewhere.  I did however, reach out to three different installers that were working this week and ask if they could add on your installation.  Unfortunately  with all of the constant afternoon rain we have been having no one was able to do this.  I am sure you know this does happen a lot here in *******. during rainy season.  We are very happy that the installer is on the mend and getting healthy and looking forward to installing your door next Tuesday.  Please let ***** know if you will still like for that appointment to stay as is and we can complete this installation for you.  We greatly appreciate your understanding with your installers illness and we look forward to seeing you soon.  Take care.

    Pro Tech Carpentry was assigned to my sliding door project.. They had to remove and reinstall five sliding hurricane doors. The prior vendor did a horrible job where doors didnt lock, screens went off the tracks and all doors leaked water. Pro Tech was totally professional in their approach. They analyzed what was done incorrectly and re- installed all the doors perfectly. There attention to detail was beyond expectations. I highly recommend this company if you need doors or windows installed. They were excellent!
