I went for a free consultation today. Best value dentures advertise that they have affordable prices, payment plans and financing options. I was not offered either. When I asked about financing I was told that in order for me to get ************ I would have to pay everything upfront. This made no sense to me. I felt disrespected and I felt like the color of my skin had everything to do with this. These prices they offered is not affordable and they didn't try to make sure that I would get services like they advertised.

The patient, who filed this complaint, scheduled and attended a free consultation at our office on 03/27/2023. At the consultation our staff provided the patient with a completely free comprehensive exam, panoramic x-ray and 3-D CBCT scan. The patient was interested in knowing the options for getting full arch implants on the upper and lower jaw. After reviewing the patient's x-rays and scans, and talking to the patient, our doctor gave his full opinions and options he could offer and exactly what each of those options would entail. After making sure all of the patient's questions were answered, the doctor had the dental assistant, who had been helping this patient, make up treatment plans for both options he covered in the exam. The doctor even offered a $500 discount per arch on any of the options as an additional way to help the patient. As the dental assistant attempted to explain the costs associated with each option, the financing options we are able to accept and how payments are structured for each option the patient became uncooperative stating that our pricing was too expensive and not allowing the assistant to fully explain everything she had to go over with her. Yes our office does work with 3 different financing companies who we encourage our patients to apply for in the office at their free consultation and even help them apply if they allow us to do so for them. We also offer a payment structure where the treatment plan is split into a surgery portion and a restoration portion so the patients do not have to pay for the entire procedure up front, regardless if a financing option is used or not. We also have a best price in Tampa guarantee that we will match any exact treatment plan within the Tampa area in the last 30 days. We understand how expensive dental implants are and try to offer the most competitive pricing around to help as many people as we can be able to afford these procedures and improve their quality of life. We have a very large diversity of patients and staff and would never treat any person differently based upon their race. We were attempting to explain all of this to the patient but they did not allow that to happen. They also never attempted to have their concerns voiced to management or the doctor to give us a chance to resolve the complaints, but instead immediately left us a 1-star review and a complaint with the BBB. The patient then contacted us afterwards to try to learn more about moving forward with treatment with our office to which we informed the patient that we would happily help if they removed their review and complaint and give us the chance to resolve the issues without slandering our small family owned business.
