Hello,I pre-paid for two services back in 2021, Microneedling with PRP ($300) and Halo Laser ($1,500). This company was taken over and acquired by a new owner and the customer service has since gone downhill drastically. My PA that I normally see has left the company along with many other customers leaving for poor service and treatment by the new owner. I have called since October of 2023 requesting a refund for the un-used services on my account ($1,800). I keep getting told that the office manager and their manager will call me and they they can only issue the refund due to the amount of the refund. I have called 1/24/24, 1/25/24, 1/26/24 and 1/30/24 and can't seem to get anyone to call me back or address my issue which is why I am filing this BBB complaint. It's like this company wants me to forget about my account balance so they don't have to issue the refund. In addition, I have also had an issue where they sent me a bill back in October of 2023 from services over 3 years ago trying to get more money out of me when the bill/statement itself was incorrect and did not show the full amount that I had paid (pulled up my credit card receipts and previous insurance statements). I never received a call back to confirm everything was taken care of and that they apologize for the FALSE billing statement. The new owners are scamming people and want to over charge customers which is why I will no longer patron this business. Very disappointed as it used to be a very well run organization.

I had a series of appointments that I thought were covered by my health insurance. At the end of each appointment, the receptionist would tell me there was a deductible of $4.85 or no charge at all.Never once was I told that I had a balance of over $2000 until I received a bill in the mail in June 2022 and at the next appointment had asked the receptionist about my balance.Had I known that insurance was not covering the claims I would have not continued treatment. Dates of Treatment:4/06/2022 4/20/2022 5/03/2022 5/18/2022 6/08/2022 6/23/2022 I had to reach out numerous times to get a statement and ask for updated charges. They should have told me how much the treatment was so I could have chosen to continue or not with the right information. I would not have continued treatment if I knew about the out of pocket costs.

It is the patients responsibility to know their benefits and deductible prior to their visit.  We provide courtesy estimates, however, the patient is responsible for the full amount specified by their insurance company.  Statements are sent on a monthly basis and are dependent on receipt of the explanation of benefits from the insurance company.  If the patient disagrees with the deductible amount billed, we encourage them to reach out to their insurance to dispute.
