      BP Screens Inc. placed a fraudulent lien on my home, as well as on five other homeowners’ properties. BP Screens Inc. never performed any work on my home, nor did they have a signed Notice of Commencement from either myself or my wife. We were never under any contract with BP Screens Inc. at any time.
      In January 2024, Mr. Planchart (Bill) from BP Screens Inc. called and threatened me, complaining that Larco Pools was not using him as the contractor for the pool screen enclosure build at my residence. Mr. Planchart (Bill) continued to threaten me, stating he would place a lien on my home to recover money that Larco Pools allegedly owed him. He demanded that I pressure Larco Pools to pay him, despite the fact that I had no direct dealings with his company.
      Without any coordination or agreement, Mr. Planchart randomly showed up at my home to check on the worksite’s progress. He then tried to charge me for the quote he provided, for initial measurements he took, and for work he never performed, including the removal of the existing screen enclosure. When I served him with a notice to contest the lien, he did not even attempt to enforce it, clearly indicating the fraudulent nature of his claim.
      Mr. Planchart, despite being a veteran, engages in unethical business practices, attempting to extort money by threatening to place liens on homes for work he hasn’t done, inflating prices in his proposals, and demanding payment upfront. While supporting veteran-owned businesses is commendable, this type of dishonesty tarnishes the reputation of honorable veterans. His business lacks transparency, operating with no storefront, no google listing on maps, and using a PO Box at a UPS store to dodge legal accountability.
      If you’re considering hiring BP Screens Inc., or working with Larco Pools, I strongly advise caution. You may become a victim of Mr. Planchart's, and Larco Pools unethical business tactics.

      I cannot recommend BP Screens enough. We extended the roof of our lanai and had a screen enclosure built around our pool. From beginning to end Bill made the entire process as painless as can be even as difficult as it was in this current environment. He was upfront about costs and timelines and even predicted some possible delays that might occur. As we were building our pool, it seemed like building our roof extension and screen enclosure would be the delay in our project, but on the contrary, he was ready to go before we were. Throughout the whole process Bill was responsive and honest about cost and timeline and was onsite often. Never once did we doubt the quality and craftsmanship of our finished product and he did not disappoint. We would not hesitate to recommend Bill and his team to anyone and would certainly use them again if needed.
