My mother, a vulnerable elder, somehow entered into a free trial membership with this company in addition to another service affiliated with this company. They sent a letter stating that her free trial would start 5 days from the date of the letter. First of all, there's no date anywhere in the letter. Second of all, I called the phone number provided and they do not speak English. Third, I attempted to email these people at the email provided and received a message stating that the email address could not be found. I need both of these services cancelled IMMEDIATELY! My mother only receives a fixed income through social security and we cannot afford to pay for these services. Not to mention that neither are needed or wanted. This company has taken advantage of my elderly and vulnerable mother and they need to be stopped. It's pretty obvious from the other complaints that this company is operating nefariously and should not be allowed to continue doing business of any sort. Please help me gain contact with this company so I can get these services cancelled. I am at my **** end trying to get in touch with an English speaking person in order to do so.Business Response

In response to ********************, this complaint is 100% unnecessary.
"***** L" contacted our business, on behalf of her mother (*****************************) on October 18th, via email at 1:32am. I have attached all the emails going back and forth from over the last 2 days. She contacted one of our companies and I replied back saying that it went to our spam which is why it took a couple of hours to get back to her. Then, she tried to contact us through another company and if you look at her screenshot and what is on the screenshot that is on the letter which was sent to her mother, you can see she typed it in wrong. There is an added "s" in hers which is why it bounced back (it's ******************************** NOT ****************************** After her first mistake, she then tried emailing my personal email address and you can see it got kicked back as well because she typed in ******************* not ***************** and then eventually looked up my wife's personal email and contacted her through there. She then googled me personally (which is fine, nothing to hide & its public information) but as you read through, she took it to a very personal and unnecessary level, bringing up my wife's name, her maiden name and talking about our home and even the shape of our pool... isn't that considered stalking? If this behavior continues, we will have to notify our local authorities. In this day and age, we have to be extra careful. She also claimed that she will file a lawsuit against us for **************** Exploitation" and sent us links...why?
Her mother, *****************************, called in from some marketing material she received and agreed to a few services on a trial basis. We did not have any of ******'s information prior, she gave an agent her name, address, credit card information and clearly agreed to receive information by mail. She was never even billed a *****. We contacted our compliance department and retrieved the recording so you can hear for yourself, this information was also sent to ************ yesterday, 10/19/23.
Clearly, her mother signed up to review the services, all ***** had to do was nicely send an email asking for her mother's services cancelled and all of this could have been avoided.
We have been polite and reassuring on each correspondence that her mother would not be billed. We have done everything on our end trying to communicate with her, even asked for her phone number to contact her but she never responded to that. Instead, ************ decided to take things to a level that is unjustified.
BBB, we've worked hard for the last 15 years to build a reputable business and will not allow one person who is repeatedly, harassing us to spread false information about how we operate. We hope that you see that we have done our part and ask that this complaint can be retracted due to false informationBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:Yes, my mother called this business of her own volition however, it is my firm belief that this was a targeted scam for the following reasons:
For starters, my mother received a mailing that promised $250 in clothing vouchers for a trial period that cost under $5. However, when the letters arrived there were only rebates available and not the vouchers promised. I don't know about everyone else but, I've never heard of a company offering rebates for unspecified purchases from any retailer. Let alone in the amount of $250. There were also $100 in restaurant vouchers that were never even received at all.
During the call my mother made to the phone number on the mailing there was a third service, "CallMyDoc247", they got her to agree to that I wouldn't have ever even known about if I hadn't been provided with a partial recording of the call between my mother and an automated system. The recording was only for approx 8 minutes while the call logs on my mother's phone show the call lasted for over ****************************************************************************************** the mail and there never was.
The three services that my mother started with this company could not be cancelled through contact by phone number provided as the were no English speaking operators available. Neither could they be cancelled by email as the email address provided was not valid. The web addresses provided for services had links available to cancel services but were also invalid. I attempted to cancel them on the websites several times each and was either not able to log in using the information provided along with my mother's phone number or, the cancellation links only refreshed to the same blank form fill out page that appeared when selecting the link just like the log in pages did. I tried several times because I made sure all my apps were up to date and restarted my phone to ensure that wasn't the issue before trying again.

my credit card has monthly charges of $19. since march of this year 2023 thru july 23 for something called snap a loop and i have not ordered anything of the such and certainly would know if i was getting something every month that i did not oder. i called to clear it up and they first told me they could cancel it and refund for the months of June and July. I said ok but i also want march april and may and they started telling me stuff i couldnt understand and that the system was down so they need my credit card number to do it and more i couldnt understand i asked for a supervisor about 5 times then someone else i couldnt understand even a little bit of anything he said other than he couldnt cancel or refund at all and hung up on me.Business Response

She was charged the monthly fee due to not cancelling her account. After reviewing our system, it looks as though ***************************** was signed up for the All American Protection Plan back on 4/23/23. A Welcome letter and fulfillment was sent to her address, which she provided, to *******************************************************************. Reviewing notes in her account, there was no call to our customer service department to cancel her membership, which is why she was billed $119/month.
I have gone ahead and cancelled her account as well as issued refunds.
Our business only charged her because she never called to discontinue her membership.
We hope the BBB feels that we have done everything we can to satisfy the consumer and will consider this matter closed.

Mysterious charges on my credit card from them, never used them before. Agree with other complaints, this is a fraud company that is scamming people. They should be dissolved and thrown in jail. FTC / SEC needs to investigate their activities.Business Response

After reviewing the account, we see that Mr. ****** was signed up for a membership through Snap-A-Loop. He reached out to our company on 1/18/2023 and requested to cancel his membership, which was done at his requests the very same day. Being that he was outside of the trial period the monthly charge was not refunded. He contacted us again, yesterday (2/6/2023) by email and requested a refund which was taken care of immediately. I personally emailed him back letting him know to please allow a few business days for it to post back to his card.
To clarify, there was no fraud charges placed on ****************** card.

I cannot find any record of communication with them indicating that I would like to purchase any service or good from them, by email or phone. Company is committing wire fraud across state lines. We have had a few emails going back and forth with Mr. ****** and sent a copy of the receipt showing proof of refund, which is also attached. We are not sure why his bank is not showing the refund on their end, but as we explained to Mr. ******* it can take a few business days for any credit to post.
No fraud was committed. Mr. ****** mentioned that his credit card may have been stolen. If that was the case, the fraud is on whoever used his card.
Our company has been in business for a very long time and we have thousands of customers that are happy with our service, we feel that we did everything on our part to fulfill our customers wish. As soon as he requested a cancellation of his membership and refund, it was taken care of immediately.
We hope that the BBB feels that we have done everything that we possibly could to rectify the situation in a timely manner and will consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because: no redund ever appeared. You said cell phone insurance plan but your website doesn't even offer that. If I ****** snap a loop and scam, I see thousands OF PEOPLE who have the same complaint as far as unauthorized charges from snap a loop appearing on Bank statements. What the heck is going on because I'm going to ask law enforcement to intervene at this point.

There were numerous transactions regarding this company on one of my credit cards without authorization. Apparently this is some sort of company that deals with meals or something similiar that I would not of signed up for or authorized.Business Response

After reviewing ************'s account, we were able to pull up the original recording where he had fully agreed to the services and agreed to the charges that he was billed for. All the memberships and dollar amounts were stated, and he clearly agreed to them. We have honored refunds to the customer after receiving the ******************** complaint but felt that we needed to prove that we never fraudulently charged or billed him, which is why the original, sales/voice recording has been provided. ************ was only billed because he agreed to the services.
We hope that the BBB can see that we have done our part to follow up with the customer's request but also would like you to be aware that he was never billed without consent (after listening to the recording).

I am rejecting this response because: The business stated that they have a recording of me honoring the purchase which is untrue. They may have a recording, but it isn't of me. I looked up reviews for this company, and I am not the first that these type of charges have appeared for other complaints from people as well. I have not received any refunds to my credit card for these actions as well. *********** stated that have returned credit to my credit card account, which is untrue as of this date. Until then, this complaint is still valid and will not be accepted as being taken care of.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.However, I feel that this complaint should become a permanent fixture on the businesses profile as this isn't the first complaint regarding this company. I accept their refund, but other than that, I reject their comments as they assume that I was the person ordering from their company, when in fact, I didn't. My credit card was hacked by someone unknown to me, and therefore they used it to purchase from this company. I was unaware of any business dealings with this company until I saw the charges on my credit card.
