    Re:Ryobi 40v 20 push mower Model#: RY401017VNM SN#: LT23164N030349 I purchased a Ryobi 40v 20 push mower from ********** on 7/1/23 for $399.00.The lawnmower stopped working in January 2024. According to ***** customer support. I had to take the ************************** to a qualified Ryobi technician for repair. The only repair shop near me was:M&M Lawn Mowers *********************************************************************************** Phone: ************ I dropped off the lawnmower on 1/20/24. It is now September 2024 and the lawnmower has not been repaired.Ive called this company for an update on:1/30/24 2/5/24 2/9/24 2/21/24 2/22/24 3/18/24 5/16/24 6/27/24 Every time I had called, I was told that they were waiting for parts from ***** and the parts were on back order but keep changing exactly what part(s) are needed. M&M has not, and I was told, will not contact me regarding the status of this repair. They also had a sign on the service counter that stated that if the equipment was not purchased at M&M then it was not a priority.I contacted ****** customer ********************** to try and verify that they had information about my lawn mower, but I was told to contact M&M.Bottom line.I want my $300.00 back.

    This response was taken verbally by BBB:

     

    The customer only paid us a $45 deposit that gets returned once the repairs are completed under warranty. We've explained to the customer that receiving the parts from the manufacturer is beyond our control. We are willing to return the unrepaired mower and the $45 deposit. However, we are one of the only repair shops for ***** in the area.
