      Date of transaction: 7/1/2024 Amount: $250 We were quoted approximately $800 for a move for a 1 bedroom apartment to another apartment within the same complex. Id like to note that in the initial call, I requested an overestimate, so as to be properly prepared for any weirdness.Issue 1: They were over an hour late. The address listed on this businesss ****** Page is false. They are not located in Tampa, they are located in *********. They liedI suspectto get away with charging a lot for mileage and travel.Issue 2: We didnt learn theyd be late until WE called THEM asking them where they were. Communication from the company is terrible.Issue 3: the truck arrived and was SMOKING. Not the employees, the VEHICLE. They wanted us to wait an additional hour and a half for another truck to arrive (charging us the whole way, no doubt)Issue 4: The quote, from start to finish, is a LIE. Remember how I said they were quoting us $800? Turns out they quoted the movers about $1200. The only reason we knew about this was because the movers warned us before work was to begin that theyd be charging us 2-3x more than the quote, as theyve been having to explain that to several people throughout the last couple weeks.So, I called the company, cancelled the move, and requested my deposit back.In none of the emails between the company and myself did they mention that the deposit is non-refundable. It was only when we called to ask that they quickly sent an email DURING THE CALL saying the deposit was non-refundable. (I am happy to show this to anyone whod like to see.)During that call, they were rude. They didnt want to hear about the cancellation, they wanted to reschedule. The representative on the phone needed to speak with a manager to answer our questions, but notably, the manager was not available 10 seconds later when we requested to speak with them.Claims department was unresponsive for a month before denying my claim while ignoring all evidence.
