      Stars and Stripes Movers is refusing to provide an invoice for our payment via ***** for moving services provided 5/28/2025 and over charged us for the services provided. Company provided a quote for $3200 as a worst case scenario for packing and moving services to include a 3 man crew, 26ft box truck, materials, disassembly and reassembly. The quote specifically said "***** from the $75 packing material delivery fee, there are no additional charges." Company instead provided a 4 man crew and a 16ft tow behind trailer without consent. We were told the move would take two trips between houses with the smaller trailer, but it instead required 3 trips, plus we took 8 trips in our personal vehicles to complete the move. Company did not reassemble any furniture and lost several pieces of hardware. They laid our 65in TV flat, which now the screen is broken. When these issues were identified to the company to discuss the discrepancy in charges (i.e. increase to $4146.20), they locked the remaining items belonging to us in their trailer and refused to unload until we paid in full, despite the fact that the quote stated there would be no additional charges, the overages were caused by the smaller trailer and extra man, they failed to complete the job (i.e. reassembly) and damaged our items. Under force, we made the full payment and asked that the company provide an itemized invoice so we could understand the charges and have our proof of payment. They have failed to respond or provide the invoice. Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

      Zero Stars, this company is nothing but a front for a work from home subcontractor who contracts out subs, not his employees and trucks to do the move. Most unprofessional bunch of grown children fighting with each other and drinking alcohol on the job, including my liquor being packed. They showed up with only 2 guys not 3 as ordered and a broken 22 **** truck, not 26 foot truck as ordered. The driver hit a tree with the truck so the back gate was non operational. 3rd guy showed, did not help load. 2 guys fought with each other. They could not fit everything in the short truck and then now showed to come back and pick up the rest of my household goods. I would not recommend doing business with this company, Veterans be warned, it is unethical business practices like these that give all veterans a bad name. *** doesn't answer his phones once he is paid. Beware Veterans this guy cannot be a veteran because he only seeks to take advantage of us.
