    Signed up for Hawx Pest Control May of 2024. ****************. We have been using them for about a year and have more bugs now than when they started. Spiders, ants in the bathroom and bedroom. We had them come out multiple times to fix the issues. When I call to cancel with only 2 months left, they have the audacity to tell me theyll still charge me $199 to cancel even though they never held up their end of the contract by killing any bugs. I attempted to explain the issues and have several photos to prove we still have bugs all over the house despite having their service for almost a year. They said I can pay the rest of the year out or the cancellation fee and they will not budge on the $199 cancel fee. Feels like a door to door scam. If Im charged a $199 fee to cancel after giving them a year of service fees without result, I would like that refunded in all fairness.

    we regret that the customer did not feel fully satisfied with their experience, we would like to clarify that this issue was fully resolved well before the BBB complaint was submitted on April 17, 2025.

    Timeline & Resolution Details:
    March 27, 2025: Our Branch Manager proactively contacted the customer after noticing multiple negative reviews online. During that call, the customer expressed frustration about recurring pest issues and a prior negative interaction with our office staff.
    The Branch Manager acknowledged the customers concerns, apologized, and offered a full early termination waiver, even though there was still one month remaining in the service agreement. This was done as a gesture of goodwill and to resolve the matter amicably.
    The customer agreed to this resolution and confirmed that waiving the cancellation fee would fully satisfy their concerns. The Branch Manager documented that the customer committed to removing their posted reviews as part of this agreement.
    That same day, the customers account was cancelled and marked as deactivated. No further billing occurred, and no early termination fee was charged.



    Post-Resolution:
    Since March 27, 2025, the customer has not been billed, contacted, or serviced by ProForce Pest Control.
    No further complaints or disputes were communicated to us after the resolution was reached.



    Summary:
    Complaint resolved in full before BBB submission (on March 27, 2025).
    Early termination fee waived.
    No charges made since cancellation.
    Customer acknowledged satisfaction with resolution during the phone call.

    I was being charged $49 a month for service. I was supposed to recieve service every 3 monts and have not received a full service since October 2024. I canceled my account and they refuse to issue a refund for the months I did not receive service for. I consider this theft since I am paying for a service that I did bot and will not receive.
