1 starI have been trying to reach someone in ******* for 2 weeks about a refund I am entitled too from my security deposit in their ******** *********** units. I was told to call back by ******* . Its been over 30 days and its required that they have to refund my deposit. Now I have to go to small claims court about this matter and hope the magistrate gives me double for my trouble! Not to mention the property manager ****** is totally blaming the accounting department in *******. 1 starMy scheduled move in date was pushed back multiple times because they were unable to get our original houses electricity on. We moved in to our second option and we didnt have hot water for nearly 2 weeks. We then reported the vinyl being lifted and they told us we were going to be charged for that as well right at move in. none of our bathroom tubs are caulked so any water that gets behind that will eventually cause mold. not to mention that the water has no filter whatsoever and the amount of bleach in our water makes my eyes burn while showering or washing our dishes. Then we found out our washer vent was broken from the date we moved in and we had to use a units washer and dryer across the property for nearly 3 weeks. our garage door wasnt installed from the day we moved in and we had 3 different vendors come out to finally realize they never even installed the electricity to it. This got fixed on our 4th month living there. All of our door k**** have fallen off. Our whole downstairs flooded twice due to their plumbing issues. nearly half of ************** have had this issue already. If you would like privacy in your downstairs bathroom, please look somewhere else as theirs dont even have locks. Our toilet seat broke into pieces after 2 months of use and we were charged for a replacement even though the only people using it were 2 105 pound girls. The property managers could care less about their residents as they are only trying to lease the property to sell it. people are constantly smoking weed in their cars and stinking up the whole neighborhood. we have a dog who runs loose and into peoples backyards 2 times a day. now to top this all off i have moved out of the townhouse as i am getting married and have bought my own house and my roommates have someone to take over my lease and they have changed the whole system and will not take me off the lease. it has been over a week of asking.Review fromJennifer C

1 starIf you DONT like your job then quit!!! No need to be RUDE an answer with a attitude I’m no long interested in the property I will not be spending my hard earned money an can’t even get them to answer the phone or emails NEVER in my life has it took so long to see weather I’m approved or not for a apartment an staff does not communicate with you you have to constantly call because they want answer I NEVER had that experience when I call other places no matter if I call 100 times they answer an answer my questions because that’s the reason for them being a employee right? Well they need to clear out this bunch an find some professional staff members that at least act as if they like they job an not have attitudes im moving on to somewhere that talks to me like a human an not having a attitude because you call an will be spreading the word an DO NOT RECOMMEND this complex POOR Customer service.Review fromLeah S

1 star*** lived in my apartment complex since 2017, my tile wall is falling and there is a leak from the pipes on the wall, my walls have mold, I'm scared for my health, I have been breathing this mold for almost 7 years and after reporting the issue and waiting a reddiculous amount of time to to finally have the maintenance staff look at it, they decided to come to the apartment and all they did was paint over it, this isn't legal and I am concerned for my health and what could happen in the long run, obviously management has gotten away with covering this issue up, as for my tiles in the bathroom they are going fall to collapse soon, the ceiling in front of my front door seem like it's going to fall on us one day and the smoke detectors don't work, I also made a complaint about our kitchen floor ripping off and I reported it to them, they claimed they took pictures and then did nothing, my grandson has fallen a few times, it is a safety issue, , there are carpet bugs that come out of our carpets because they are so old,and there are also roaches in the unit, the stove doesn't work correctly, and nothing is done, my fire detectors stopped working too, management has neglected this unit from the moment I got here and I am currently collection evidence and I have record of the work orders, I want to have this on file and would like to have a real inspection because I'm sure there is multiple health and safety issue and I'm contemplating filing a lawsuit. Please respond as soon as possible, the name of the apartment is ****** Lakes, owned by Richmond Property Management, I searched through the Better Business Bureau reviews and there multiple complaints from different locations that the company has a pattern of keeping their units in this sort of condition. If anyone decides to rent here prepare to deal with violation of your human rights and neglectection, I am now asked to leave because my son whom visits me let the maintenance staff know and he mantioned a law suite.Review fromRobin C

1 starI have lived in my apartment for over a year. The outside of the dumpster is a mess, food be throwed everywhere, rats and raccoon be inside the dumpster. They need about three dumpster then they won't have the problem of people dumping food and trash all outside the dumpster. The kids be using markers and writing on the sidewalk, out side the apartment doors is dirty and writing all over the steps, it needs to be painted or pressure washed. They need better microwaves, mine is raggedy and *****, my dish washer is a mess, upgrade needed. Someone need to come and inspect the complex. 1 starI currently stay in ******** springs apartments. My toddler and I have been without Air Conditioning since OCTOBER 16 2022. My air sits at a constant 79 degrees EVERYDAY, 82 degrees when Im making meals for my family. I AM COMPLETELY IRATE WITH THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT IT IS TAKING WHEN THIS ISSUE IS CONSIDERED A MAINTENANCES EMERGENCY ALSO BEING THAT I HAVE NOT BE ACCOMMODATED DUE TO MY INCONVENIENCE. There is over 100 plus rentals and they only have 2 portable air conditioners. I PAY $904.00 EVERY MONTH FOR ME TO HAVE TO endure this type of heat. My home is supposed to be where I relax and feel the most comfortable but yet Im left to face having hot flashes. I was inconvenienced when I had to buy a fan that does nothing but recycles the same heat. Can you imagine having to cook and how extremely hot it get with no AC or immediately sweating after I just got out the shower?.?The maintenance is very Lackadaisical and the communication is non existent (unless youre late on you rent and have to pay the extra $100 or getting mail with the rent amount thats the only form of communication one will receive). 1 star200 units with NO SECURITY CAMERAS anywhere. Gates wide open for all to come in anytime of day or night. Management asks residents to call the POLICE instead of enforcing their lease agreement rules.SO basically you are on your OWN hereReview fromAnnGee

1 starThere have been numerous occurrences of mold in the unit. Management comes in and paints over the issue without full removal. Since this has occurred on so many occasions we asked the property manager to be moved to a different unit and she stated that there would have to be a new lease signed and would have to pay the new rent which is approximately a $500 increase. I explained to her that this isn't our fault so we shouldn't be penalized for that. The manager stated (and not nicely) she'd have someone look at it, that was 2 weeks ago. I contacted a few numbers in corporate but no one has yet to respond. I then paid to have a mold removal company come out and inspect. After their testing they stated that it was 40 times the normal amount of accepted mold in the unit and that the complex didn't do a proper removal by an actual mold removal company because it wouldn't have continously come back the way that it did. At this point I'm unsure of the next step, however I would not recommend renting from a company that isn't willing to offer a feasible solution for something that was not the tenants fault and also not being able to speak with anyone in corporate, not even an operator.
