      Rent King is not transparent in there charges. I ask for a print off of the prices they were charging me and they gave me a copy of the of no importance. They said if I paid it off in 6 months it would be paid in full. While I was there to make the transaction they said oh we will give you 7 months. They didnt explain it would cost me double if I paid in a 7th month period. So wheather you pay by week or they extend your monthly payment time its double for the item you received so be aware ask for the numbers. Not what they say. I returned the bedroom outfit it went from $2,349.89 to $4,125.12. Tell me thats not a rip off for poor people. Rent King be upfront on your policy so people can really understand. Highly Not Recommended

      I do not have any products from rent king. I had two men try to break into my house at 8pm in lakeland. When asking them to address themselves they said Ricky NOT rent king and would not state the reason they are at my home. They then continued to knock and raffle at my door knob for another 20-30 minutes after not answering because i was home alone and terrified that 2 unknown men were at my door trying to enter without my consent. later that night i found a letter on my door so i called the lakeland store the next day (they came after business hours) and the man i spoke with refused to take accountability for trying to break into my house and kept asking if i know the previous resident, no apology what so ever. I then left a message for the district manager who also refused to acknowledge the men trying to break into my home and asked to be given access inside of my home several times after after i told him i don’t know the person who lived there before. This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful as they had me terrified, hiding in the bathroom of my home because they would not state they were with rent king or the reason they were there and continued to try to open my front door and side door of my home.
