      I searched for a screen enclosure company via FB marketplace. I originally contacted Bay Area Enclosures LLC. on Oct. 12, 2021 regarding adding screen enclosures to my home front porch. It was a verbal conversion. The male representative stated he was in the area and could come by for measurements. I asked if I had to be home for them, he stated no. I had to pick up my three kids from school. I received a link for that invoice, via text message, later that evening for $810.00. On Oct.13, 2021 I informed him that my husband wanted to get another quote and we were waiting. Nov. 11, 2021 I informed the same representative via text message that we chose his company and will be ready for payment the second week in December. We were expecting to close on our new house and funds would be available at that time. On the same date, Nov.11, 2021, I informed the rep that we wanted to add a splash guard in black color. He stated via text, that it would be an additional $200.00. Nov. 12,2021 he requested a deposit so materials could be ordered. Dec. 13,2021 via text, I informed the rep that we were ready to give the deposit. Dec. 13, 2021 a second invoice was sent via web link through text. rep requested deposit be sent via CashApp. On the invoice it stated Zelle. I sent via Zelle to the number stated. The Rep stated it was his personal number and it was not connected to Zelle to use an alternative number, which I did, to Hannah, his wife. Dec. 14, 2021 Rep sent a text message to let me know there was a hold on ordering the door and it would be Thursday at the lastest. I agreed to have an appointment for Friday Dec. 17, 2021 at 1130. On Dec. 17, 2021 at 1146 I sent a text message asking if he was still coming to complete the job. I received no answers, via text and phone calls (see call log). Dec.18, 2021 I reached out to the company via text and FB Messenger. I received a reply back on FB messenger from the rep stating he had left his phone in Tampa and he had a family emergency in Gainesville and he would be back on Monday Dec. 20, 2021. I sympathize with him and wish him safe travel but I appreciate better communication. On Dec. 20, 2021 I contacted the rep via FBM. No answer. I called on Dec. 21, 2021 no answer. On dec. 22, 2021 via FBM I stated that we would sue for deposit return. The rep responded he would issue a refund when he return on Thursday Dec. 23, 2021. I sympathize and respond back with the Zelle number to give back the deposit, via FBM. Dec. 23,2021 the rep stated that he had to return the materials to get the money back. I ask again if he could just complete the job by giving a date and time, no response. Dec. 28,2021 I asked if we would receive our deposit back before new years, he replied back ,"yes, Friday". (Dec. 31,2021). Dec. 31,2021 came and went without a deposit being returned nor a call, text message, or FBM reply. Jan. 3, 2021 I reached out to the company via text, FBM, and call without an answer. Voice Messaging were left with each voice call on the call log. I also call his personal number ************ and second business number ************ where messages were left.
