    I am so completely satisfied. I shipped my iPad to you all on the 24th (a Saturday!), I received your acknowledgement of receipt on the 27th, and today, August 30th I received an email saying my iPad passed inspection and the money arrived in my bank account a couple of hours ago. Awesome service! Thank you for being a reputable buyer and do efficient throughout the process.

    I have ordered at least 5 iMacs from Mac of All Trades over the past 14 years. I used Adobe programs so the computers get a very hard workout. I've always ordered the iMac that is graded as "Excellent" and they have been just that.But last week I ordered a refurbished 2019 iMac that they graded as in "Excellent" condition, meaning "Minimal wear based on the age of the product." Instead the iMac i received is actually in "Fair" condition, meaning "Heavy signs of usage. Machine may have technical limitations. Read product listing for specifics." I have another iMac I bought from them that when started, takes less than one minute to open with all icons and dock visible. And less than a minute to open one of the Adobe programs I use. This iMac takes 13 minutes from start to opening a program and then the screen freezes. When clicking or typing the Spinning Wait Cursor constantly pops up and can take several minutes to disappear but sometimes doesn't and the computer freezes. I have to shut it down manually and reboot it. These problems are taking at least 1.5 - 2 hours out of my billable hours EVERY DAY. That's 30+ hours a month I can't bill my clients. They did NOT refurbish this machine. It arrived with the Mojave Os from 2019 and I followed the instructions to upgrade the software through two newer Os versions. But this didn't solve the problem. I have tried contacting them through their "Customer Service" chat box, email and tried calling both phone numbers. The options on both phone numbers don't have an option to speak to a tech person about a dysfunctional computer. I uploaded images to their "Customer Support" chat window showing time/date stamped images of starting the computer right through to finally opening a program. My order number, receipt and screenshot showing the product listed as in "Excellent" condition and 26 hours later, no response. The return window is only 14 days. I suspect they are going to try to stall me.

    We are addressing a complaint from the customer who purchased a 2019 iMac from mac of all trades, marked "Excellent" for its cosmetic condition. It is important to clarify that this grade pertains strictly to the physical appearance and does not indicate the performance capabilities of the device, a distinction explicitly detailed on our website.



    This device is one of the most economically priced options available, reflecting its capabilities. It is equipped with an i3 processor and an older rotational HDD, specifications that were not only clearly listed on our site but also the drive was specifically selected by the customer from available options. This product is designed for general computing tasks rather than high-performance applications such as Adobe software and this pricing and specification detail was intended to provide transparency and help customers make purchases that align with their needs.



    Upon experiencing performance issues, the customer engaged with our automated FAQ bot, designed to offer immediate troubleshooting assistance and escalate unresolved issues to live support. Unfortunately, the customer did not select the escalation option, which in turn did not push their ticket to our customer service team. The first explicit communication we received was a message only stating "DISPUTE FILED WITH PAYPAL" followed by the expletive "BULLS***" in another message. We responded within an hour of this direct contact.



    Following its return, the iMac underwent extensive testing and was found to operate within normal functional parameters for its specifications with a clean installation of macOS. It has since been resold and remains in use without any further complaints, which suggests that the initial problems reported were specific to the customer's expectations of using the device for high-demand software applications. Of course, without detailed knowledge of the customer’s specific workflow, our conclusions remain speculative, based solely on the observed data.



    While we regret any confusion caused, we encourage customers to fully utilize the communication options available on our site and refer to the detailed specifications and our grading scales before making a purchase. These tools are in place to help clarify expectations and facilitate a smoother customer service experience.
